Woman was in charge wasn't she?
APOLOGIZE
it happened at 2 in the morning, the watches on the bridge didnt pay attention the cargo ship, probably assumed they werent going to hit them, and the guys down in combat are probably snuggled up in there big ass coat asleep because its a/c'd to 63 down there, and the aft lookout like always was passed the fuck out in the helo tower
I'm not disputing this at all. Everyone NCO/Officer on that destroyer has had their careers finished.
But the reality is, even if the US is 100% at fault legally, this whole situation could have been avoided with a little common sense from either side.
this or a dindu
>In the first detailed account from one of those directly involved, the cargo ship's captain said the ACX Crystal had signalled with flashing lights after the Fitzgerald “suddenly” steamed on to a course to cross its path.
>The container ship steered hard to starboard to avoid the warship, but hit the Fitzgerald 10 minutes later at 1:30am, according to a copy of Captain Ronald Advincula's report to Japanese ship owner Dainichi Investment Corporation that was seen by Reuters.
Sounds like the container ship did everything they could to avoid the collision.
This wouldn't have happened if US navy was only composed by BIG BLACK submarines.
>t. niger
>an actual nigger
How does that happen?
More high speed rail=fewer ships=fewer collisions.
This may seem insane, but people can be negligent and/or incompetent.
