Give me your recommendations for folk songs that are soulful and not degenerate. They do not have to be nationalistic. Traditional British music, preferably, but it can be any European/Western country in any European language.
Here's some (mormon) folk music from my region. Utah was a religious settlement so our culture is tied to Mormonism. Not here to debate, just share some cozy music
This picture is fucking stupid. Apartments didn't replace houses, houses still exist. I live in a city that is entirely suburban, nearly everyone hear lives in a house.
There's no traditional British anything, our codfish muncher friend. Except for gingivitis and some degenerative health problems caused by a tiny gene pool.
Other artists that I couldn't find much of on YouTube: Speirs and Boden, Dr faustus, A.L Lloyd, Ewan MacColl, Sam Carter, Sandy Denny, Peter Bellamy, Martin Carthy, Bob Fox, Anne Briggs, The Albion band Kate Rusby Martin Simpson John Renbourn Bert Jansch Dick Gaughan Planxty The Wayfarers Ryan's fancy
Also if you want proper old English/Scottish folk music, as it would have been sung, look at Cecil Sharps recordings
>south america >not a favela with a river of shit running out of it
