only italians can produce such beauty

You learned from hellinism.

poos have sculpture mostly porno tier stuff and Islam has something against making the human image or something but old timey Muslims made really beautiful geometric buildings and design.

I would say sub Saharan Africa never made anything of real beauty.

>creating a statue of a horny god trying to rape nymph
that's about right kek

Only Greco Italics can produce such beauty.

true. italians do it better

to be fair you burger friend never did something like that.

but wait!
we also have something to give!

Kikes can and have. In fact, they are responsible for most instances.

The artisans involved were probably all Greeks, like Sinan

We're too busy making babies with your women desu.

I wonder how much such a hand carved statue might cost

Can you?

Why can't you?
It'd surely be better to have a biological handicap than just be shit?

una faccia una razza

i like hindu sculptures

no where near as as finely detailed and elaborate as OP's, but they weren't working with soft marble.

because they are uncivilized sub humans.

bullshit.

over 50000 euros.
but chinks will do a crappy work for about 5000 or less. anyway, in this day and age. all goes to CNC machine and then a sculptor finish it. that will reduce price to maybe 3500. italian guy is an old school carver and he can ask a lot of cash for his work.
stonecarver here

We're not part of the Greco-Italian artistic tradition, except for Christian art, which is pretty similar to what the Italians do (in a smaller scale and lesser quality, but similar)

>una faccia una razza
exactly my friend down under. exactly.

pic catalogue.
maybe it worth about 10000 imho. but whatever

totally worth it. show us some of your work. can you carve me a giant hitler?

Talk about retarded, Arabs didn't make many statues as they were travellers and Statues are a little awkward to put on the back of a camel every day. However, when they did settle down they built some nice houses

>spics can't be sculptors

sure, do you have the muneyz? i can start tomorrow morning

>travellers
>not decapitating raping pillagers and invaders

...

>implying that you can

Too bad they're bombing all of these and burned all their 'heathen knowledge' and 1000 years of inbreeding has reduced all those high IQ mathematicians into literal special ed class tier

Iran is the only leftover. Genuinely intelligent, honourable and kind peoples who preserve their past. Don't let the Kikes destabilise and democracise it

I paypal you some memes

That pretty much covers everyone in those days. Remember what happened to the Muslims in Spain?

Those were made back when white men were real men, leaf

It's like a retarded ugly poorly proportioned parody of David made out of disgusting tier wood literally stiched together out of shitty panels

I've seen orphan sweatshop kids in Indonesia carve better works for 2 cents a day, and this goes in the central square?

few shitty carvings
1

>not justified

>a home invaders is the same as a home owner

really made me think

looks good. not art, but solid craftsman ship. you should go into nazi memorabilia and sell them to larping americlaps on pol.

DELETE THIS you are making OP look like a retard

Yes. We should gas the kikes. Soon

If I wanted egotistical opinions from a literal autistic nobody I'd go to /fa/

What? The Moors were in Spain for 800 years living peacefully together with Christians. Then around 1500's the Catholics fucked things up for the next 500 till they finally got rid of Franco

1500-1650 was the Spanish golden age you doofus

T H I C C

1478 -1834 History written by the victors again. Bit like Trump and all his job-saving measures really

...

>poorly proportioned
this is a major fuckup people do in carving and sculpture in general. it is important how you "set up" things in the beginning, process of carving itself is simple and joyful. this goes especially for classic stone carving like pic related. it its pure geometry and mathematics. if you didn't do that part well, then carved piece will look retarded even if you are skilled at it. that italian grandpa wasted 70% of his time measuring proportions from plaster casting to marble.

Why am I posting this on Sup Forums?

...

Would you rather have the divided and irrelevant Spain from before 1492? Any historian would facepalm

>The Moors were in Spain for 800 years living peacefully together with Christians
That's rich. The Moors were constantly at war with the locals for everything from raiding them for slaves to refusing to prosecute Muslim criminals to using them in petty dynastic squabbles or just outright kicking their shit in for fun.

OP, it's not that Whites are the only ones who can make good art, it's that the Greeks are the only ones to break the usual pattern of abstract art and instead head towards hyper-realism that dipped back into abstract art, namely in sculpture which they had a hardon for. The rediscovery of this, coupled with the invention of perspective, lead to an artistic boom.

Two good examples of this phenomenon (realism getting "too real" and becoming ideal and abstract" are the Riace Bronzes and the Doryphoros. The Riace Bronzes are, at first glance, incredibly realistic. Then you realize that they're all flexing their pecs and their back at the same time (something you physically cannot do), have two inch deep grooves for abs and adonis belts, have muscles that simply don't exist on the lower backs, and have bizarrely long limbs compared to their notably shorter torsos. Pic related, two modern Italians compared to what was supposed to be a Greek man. The Doryphoros displays similar ideal-realism. His proportions are all, subtly, off because the artist used mathematical proportions to sculpt an ideal man rather than an actual man (IE, his head is 1/7th the size of his body, his arms and torso are in a specific ratio, etc).

This quest of realism started out as the desire to display man perfectly; after that peak was reached, the goal became to depict man perfectly, even if it no longer really depicted man.

big chimping.

A Jew did this

...

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croatian_Apoxyomenos

i did a restoration job on similar bronze sculpture back in the day.

pic is related

...

...

I doubt it. Jews claim a lot of shit they actually stole from the goyim.

Scythian art is a combination of Greek realism and Chinese monster art. I think it's dank as fuck. If i were rich, I'd pay for shitloads of Scythian looking gold work.

Pic related is the proportions of the Doryphoros. SPOILER: You can't actually look like this, no matter how hard you workout or how hard you roid. You'd have to change how your skeleton is arranged.

As demonstrated it's not as if Indians can't carve stone. Indeed, their temples are fucking FESTOONED with proof that they can. Whereas the Greeks, Romans, and later Christian Europe sought to use proportions and ratios to align man and building, the Hindus instead chose to use their temples as canvasses to convey an absolutely mind boggling amount of information via statuary. Many temples have tens if not hundreds of myths covering their outsides. So why are they, simply put, lackluster compared to the Greek statues? Simple, the Hindus didn't care about realism. Notice how much attention is put on things other than the woman; her head dress, her clothes, the mudra her right hand makes, the halo around her, etc.

...

It's worth noting that that image uses measurements based off of known measurements (IE, his height) and the sizes of things in the image. It's from /fit/.

Thank you for the next point: China. The Chinese are great sculptors, they just worked mostly in wood (just like their architecture). Pic related, a Chinese Bodhisattva. But notice how, like the Hindu sculptures, it lacks the autistic attention to proportion and musculature that the Greco-Roman statues have. Again, also notice the clothing and the symbolism is represents.

Again, it's not that non-Whites CAN'T make art; it's that our art has an ancient heritage stemming from an ancient homoerotic autism and that this has imbued our art with a deep seated desire to depict reality accurately even if "reality" is actually an ideal of reality. This Bodhisattva isn't supposed to be realistic or to display "proper" ratios and proportion, however.

Hey croatia, how do you feel about all those ancient sculpture works that are thousands of years old? Do you think they were truly masters of the craft? Stone sculpting seems like such a niche thing to do in the modern era, especially amongst artsy liberals who prefer to make shitty plaster vaginas and penises.

I mean, to us normal folks it all looks fucking amazing, hard to imagine ancient romans or greeks were making such lifelike beautiful things out of stone and bronze, but I imagine to someone who actually works in the field, bas relief for example, is probably really simple stuff, right?

Those are nice, but no t quite equivalent to the western realism. Pic related is abetter example i think. Also they're older, so i wouldn't expect as much.

You're laying it on pretty think. I've never seen anything match the detail of stuff like OP's statue(don't make me post more examples). Chinese thought so themselves,

history.com/news/greeks-may-have-influenced-chinas-terra-cotta-army

smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/did-greeks-help-sculpt-chinas-terracotta-warriors-180960771/

The Chinese aren't bad painters either. They're really fucking good at it. Pic related. The Chinese also have this tradition of making these really long kickass paintings depicting huge scenes. Think the Bayeux tapestry, but bigger. And not made out of wool and flax.

But you know what's striking when you look at these? The lack of perspective. Because perspective is something that Renaissance artists INVENTED. They didn't rediscover it, they invented it. Greco-Roman painters, from what little we have seen of their works (namely mosaics) didn't have perspective. They used subtle tricks to create something APPROXIMATING perspective but they didn't have perspective itself. Remember in art class in school when you'd draw the traintracks going into the horizon? That was groundbreaking in its day and no one but the Renaissance Italians had it.

Again, we see a part of that ancient heritage: The obsession with ratio and proportion. Perspective is, after all, just making sure everything agrees with and is in ratio and proportion to the distance of the "scene".

yes they were masters. they had different perception of time than us today. much much more patience.

Just a reminder that classical art such as the OP pic was invented by European polytheists.
Don't let the (((christcucks))) take credit. The renaissance was nothing more than a look back to the superior classical (european polytheistic) past.

An example of a Roman fresco lacking perspective. The artist uses subtle tricks to create the effect of 3D but lacks the actual ratios and proportions given by perspective. Notice that all three women are the same size even though they're in front of each other (the trick). Also notice how the wall is a flat background, and the floor does not appear to actually go anywhere.

One of the emperors had a whole building(in the Forbidden City i think) repainted by European artists and filled with a European classical music orchestra. There's a whole documentary on it, but i forget what it's called.

haha... poos.

Just to keep yall informed but Bernini was of African descent.

>Don't let the (((christcucks))) take credit.
I really don't care about church today. But in the past, if there wasn't for church, we will have nothing today. Nothing. They always had the money to finance artisans and builders.

Because it's not black marble.

>muh renaissance artists created perspective
I hate this meme, do you even know what a fresco is? Even today, good luck depicting anything realistic or with deep perspective on a fresco. You might have a point if there were actual paintings from the era.

Christians in Constantinople were found to have smashed the Christian statues and worshiped towards the old gods when they realized their doom was at hand. Western Roman Catholicism is old Greek/Roman pagan first and Christian second. They didn't let commoners read the bible because they knew it was all subversive propaganda. They promoted the proven values that had always brought them victory and chased after the popular fad of Christendom after.

CAESAR'S MESSIAH
Who was Jesus?
Why were the Gospels written in Greek, rather than Hebrew or Aramaic?
Why were the first Christian Pope and saints all members of the Flavius Caesar family?

In his book Caesar's Messiah, Atwill outlines a revolutionary discovery: the series of events in Jesus' ministry described in the Gospels are exact, sequential parallels to the the battle campaign of Titus Flavius, as recorded by Josephus in War of the Jews. From this revelation, Atwill unravels one of the best kept secrets of our modern era–that the origins and intentions of Christianity are far different than we have been led to believe.

The key came in Josephus’ War of the Jews, which describes Titus’s destruction of Jerusalem in 70 CE. The military campaign exactly paralleled over 40 moments in the ministry of Jesus described in the Gospels; an inconceivable coincidence.

As Atwill presents in Caesar's Messiah, the Flavian Roman imperial family created Christianity to pacify the militaristic opposition to their rule. Even more incredibly, they placed a literary satire within the Gospels to mark their handiwork.

The Deception of Constantine
Constantine mixed Mithraism, Apollo worship, and Christianity to vault himself into popularity.

Hmmmm...

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gian_Lorenzo_Bernini#Early_life

Bernini was born in Naples in 1598 to Angelica Galante and Mannerist sculptor Pietro Bernini, originally from Florence. He was the sixth of their thirteen children.[12][13] Gianlorenzo Bernini was the definition of childhood genius.

We were making this in Africa 100k years ago when you were an amoeba on the butt of a dinosaur brah

There would have been other rich people to fund it. The church was a big centralized wealth vacuum.
