I've recently hung out with friends, and I sort of come to the conclusion that successful people will always be successful no matter where you put them.
I rememeber these guys being smarter than me, and higher in the social standing in HS.
Now that image that I gave them is ruined. They've recently graduated/almost graduated. Yet none of them have a job/career.
It seems to me like they're just being stagnant. I told them I quit playing DOTA and MOBAs because it a useless time sink and I got wierd looks. I also told them that after graduating college they should be looking for better things.
All I got was some B.S answer how the system is rigged and you need connections. Some people don't need to have careers or a good job right now.
Meanwhile I worked my ass off in college, got into a really good company without connections, i'm a complete antithesis of their arguements.
