This sort of show has always been on Channel 4, it's a weird channel that has a mix of high and low brow programming. You should always remember that any country has multiple different classes to cater to. This is lowest of the low class entertainment. I'm surprised by those vagina close-ups, though. Back in the nineties when I used to stay up late to watch Eurotrash on Channel 4 they never had genitals almost fill the screen like that.
If it's any consolation, the BBC had BBC1 and BBC2 for years, and once TV went digital, it introduced a channel that at first had a different name but later became BBC3 which was similarly low brow stuff, and BBC4 which is really high brow stuff. A year or so ago BBC3 was effectively relegated to an online service, I assume because of low ratings, while BBC4 is still a healthy, legitimate channel.
