He's so backward. There's something about this that makes me wonder where he learned that living in a world run by robots would possibly be a good thing.

But it's not a bad thing. Neither was the industrial revolution.

What automation means is lower prices for consumers, which has a higher net benefit for society as opposed to the net benefit from having someone do obsolete work.
