I think a gay couple can raise a child if they intend to do it the same way anyone else would. And if they are the kind of couple that want to raise a child, then they are more likely to be a sensible and balanced couple.

HIV infection is declining in White gays. It only has been still going up for Hispanic and Black gays.
Over half of new HIV cases are Black men. Don't fuck non-Whites, don't get HIV, condom or not. Also avoid people who inject drugs and smoke meth, and you are not going to get HIV.
