Modern men dressing like degenerates

Why do men dress like degenerates now? It's always Jeans/shorts with a t-shirt for the modern man. Why does society shun the modest suit and hat?

Everyone got lazy and stopped caring about how they look.

I make $1200 a month and my bills are $1300 a month. I can't even afford to buy new underwear, how am I supposed to buy a 3-piece and a dapper chapeau?

If I wasn't white there'd be a thousand opportunities for me, but I'm white and my parents don't have money so I'm uneducated and I got no headstart in life.

society is a evolution not a construct, 40-50s were a very rotten time. Everyone tried to hide it and it exploded.

>wearing a suit and fedora when it is 90° outside

Because if you wear a suit everyone will think you are a tryhard faggot so it will backfire on you

the only exception is if you are in business...and even then a lot of those guys don't even wear ties

That guys running, not headed to an interview. Go home reviewbrah

It's not just the monetary aspect OP, in order for a high fasion to exist, community is vital. If your peers, people you look up to, your elders, and others of your in-group wear a suit, you will also wear a suit. But if your country is riddled with foreigners, weirdos, degenerates, and if the familial structure has been shattered, then people will dress in whatever they feel is the most comfortable and cheap. There is no regard for the community; there is no concern paid to aesthetics. These are higher values that require one to look past oneself.

I wear a proper shirt and belt and will wear khakis shorts if it's hot as hell outside (remember us leafs melt if it's above 15°). However, like said, it's too expensive to be able to afford a suit to wear casually.

FUCKING FAGGOT!
THATS YOUR EXAMPLE?????

There's blokes out there ON THE CUNTING STREET DRESSING LIKE FUCKING NIGGERS AND WOMEN!

GET FUCKED YOU MAGGOT CUNT!

The people who complain about this often look the dorkiest in suits.

>and stopped caring about how they look
They still care a lot. The average man spends almost as much time on grooming as a woman at this point, it's more that they have terrible taste and think looking like shit is a good thing.

The guy on the right is exercising. Get the point, but the imageboard context need support.

i make sure i never leave the house without a classy hat.

Guy on the right is clearly wearing exercise clothes though. Probably on a run or coming from the gym...

It's called white genocide, pal. Nothing wrong with she-boons in yoga pants and nigger-hoodies with pot-leaves on them over sweatpants around their knees, it's the white guy in jeans and a t-shirt that's the problem.

>Why do men exercise when they could just cultivate inner strength?
Some people just don't know they're a meme I swear to god

"You may have "swag", but I've got CLASS" /tips fedora

This, suits cost a lot, and in secondhand shops hard to find a good suit so I would never wear one everywhere. Besides, already spend money on vidya games.

FALSE.

Stop living up to the expectations of the nigger loving left.

>I make $1200 a month and my bills are $1300 a month
How old are you? Why are your bills so high?

Yeah, the guys wearing suits every day spent no time on their appearance.

I'm 24. I bought a car at 23.

>they don't exercise in a full suit

Classic plebs

societal norms change over time. If you disagree then I hope you have white, curly hair like the patrician you pretend to be; otherwise you're degenerate.

Good suits still cost real money and everyone has been turned into niggers.

When America was great, this post would have sounded like satire.

That suit looks expensive though, looks nice though.

I'm assumg you didn't buy a cheap used one, like you were supposed to. What do you drive, user?

Playing dress up is for cucks. You're doing it to impress Shlomo so he'll hire you, or to impress some slut. Wear what's practical.

The upper echelon still wear suits. The line between the elites and the proles has grown so wide that proles find the style of the elites to be risible.
The jews did this

do you exercise in a suit OP?

>surrounded by disgusting abusive women exploiting every aspect of government and marriage with support from left and right wing socialist retards

>YO user WHY DONT YOU DRESS LIKE REVEW BRAH YOU WILL TOTALLY GET PUSSY

yea... no

test

Review Brah is a good man.

On the rare occasions I make myself presentable, it takes me 15 minutes altogether, 20 if it's humid and my hair is weird. I've had a roommate take that long to get his man bun to look like he didn't spend any time on it.

Underrated truths

>Dissing Review Brah
Confirmed for jealous of our boy's dapper swag

If you dress like the guy on the left people just see you as a tryhard.

>society
You assume that people care.

I dress in gym shorts/pants and t-shirt EVERYWHERE. I have about 6 suits of various degrees of professional including a powder blue 70s tux. At work I wear a "uniform". Heavy denim coveralls and tons of safety gear. My boots required have steel plates in the front, bottom and top.

When I am not at work, I dress like a total bum. I wear tshirts that are rotting apart. I don't give a fuck. I make almost $40/hour in the check and really can't be bothered to impress anyone. I wear a suit a few times a year. It certainly has a certain air about it when it is fitted. I am not a style person. Gym pants are just pajamas. I love comfort.

>Confirmed for jealous of our boy's dapper swag
I love Salvation Army, and hate Goodwill. I am a thrift shopper. My last suit I got on a half off day.....total suit with shirt and tie....$12 and it fit like a glove. Best $12 bucks ever spent. I highly advise thrift stores for suits.

It's the industry telling you that everything matches, so buy everything you see, without hesitation. pic related

>10 different solid colors

Is this real? Also I unironically do this, and when I'm walking past a black I'm always ready to evade a punch.

I dress like the man on the left minus the hat unless its sunny. Some of us are the change we want to see.

basically, pic related, but clothing

Back in the 1940s and '50s, a lot of people would wear more casual clothing while it was hot outside, too. Often, yes it would include a hat, but not necessarily a fedora. There were and are Panama hats, boaters, other straw hats, cowboy hats, canvas hats, and more.

>Man dresses like shit, he's a degenerate
>Man dresses classy, he's cringy

So, what exactly do you want, OP? Do you even know?

My nigga, the things you can stumble upon while thrift shopping is amazing.

Reminder that unless you wear a suit made with a paper pattern based on your measurements by a tailor you shouldn't even try

L.O.L. I think that the yuppies who run around like that in the streets are probably worthless shells of human beings, but the same thing went through my head at first glance as well.

That's not true for everyone, everywhere, but yes, there are probably almost always those that think so.

If we saw someone walking down the street wearing that outfit on the left we would call them a fedora autist.

Are you trying to say you wear a suit when you go for a run? If so, kill yourself now.

And by we you mean actual autists.

OP trying to understand what degenerate truly means

In your opinion, user. But not really.

Since the late medieval times there has been a standard daily outfit for men of middle-upper class, until the late 60's early 70's

Now you dress like a wetback who just crossed the border to expensive restaurants and no one gives a shit

If you don't think this is a sign of the degeneration of our culture you are wrong

male shorts above the knees have got to be outlawed, as well as skinny jeans

Don't talk like that of our /ourguy/

Protip: Layers of cotton will actually keep you cool.

Why do you think arabs wear robes and shit?

I don't know why this basic knowledge seems to have been totally lost to people in the West. Shit, maybe Islam really is the final redpill.

Sup Forums exists to exacerbate your insecurities.

I just had a thought. What if those people you're referring to were only people of power at the time? What if average people never dressed like that?

Truly we shall never know, unless someone invents a time machine.

>go to job interview
>wear a blazer and flat front dress pants but no tie since i had heard the company was relatively relaxed with no strict dress code
>during interview one of the first things said was, "i mean, dude, you're wearing a suit."
>followed shortly thereafter by "i don't think you'd fit in here."
>did not get job

fashion and trends change. there's no better or worse. things just change.

We would.

And by we I mean everyone living in today's society who isn't a basement dwelling social outcast. Just shows the level of delusion on this board when it comes to nearly anything modern in culture.

Sup Forums isn't the only board that does this. It's society in general. Society doesn't know what it wants.

fuck you its hot down here

>not buying a car for under 2k
Lmaoing at your life

The guy on the right looks like he is working out.

Implying you ever leave the house

enjoy the decline, m8. fuck bitches, get money, die not giving a fuck

if you could afford it you dressed like it
no doubt people were wearing peasant rags

Since industrialization poor people have tried to dress like their rich

now the rich try to dress like they are from the hood ($700 for torn jeans)

hippies ruined everything

>buy car for 2k
>you wind up putting over 10k of repairs into it because it's a piece of shit

Cool shitpost.

I guarantee those faggots pay 25% below industry average and pretend that a beer fridge and ping pong table in the break room make up for it, even though no one ever actually uses them.

If people's outfits are becoming increasingly sexual and flamboyant do you not think this can tell you something about the society?

I think the Blazer may have been a little too formal user, shirt and slacks are alright.

>paper pattern.

Why paper pattern? Most designers just call them patterns. Fucking weirdo.

It depends. Remember that those old black and white photos people tend to wear their best for photographs or they may have been taken at financial centers.
I like dressing in a sportcoat and pants and this 92 year old woman I knew would always ask me why I was so dressed up. I think people get a distortion on how people used to dress in the past. The man in the gray flannel suit in the OP might have worn that for business, not as everyeday wear.

Hats have been coopted by faggots, why would you want to wear one?

His movements were real, as for the comments I doubt it. I haven't seen that specific video of him though so I could be wrong.

Bro-tip: you don't need to dress like a LARPer to be non-degenerate. Wear a polo shirt, or anything that looks straight and smart. It's not hard.

Not gonna make it

At least stay out of the way, Mr Beta-male.

Global warming has made it too hot to wear wool suits all the time.

Too fucking hot in the summer too fucking cold in the winter

Why did society shun the frilly jacket and powdered wig?

most people didn't wear fucking zoot suits every day

god Sup Forums attracts some assburgers

Your average person has always worn basic shit like t-shirts and shorts/pants

Dudes going ona run, how the fuck you gonna run in a suit? Nigger.

Oh well yea, I'm just wondering if this is some kind of green screen thing or if he's actually doing this to a black guy.

yes i remember the good ol days when men wore suits to go jogging

>dressing like a supermarket employee

you can dress modestly without looking like a 50's asshole.

look towards GQ. they managed to avoid degenerative styles while still being chic.

bullshit. My brother works at a company that has no dress code, everyone wears t shirts, shorts and sandals, and it is a HUGE no-no to skip the suit and tie if you interview there as a candidate. They have turned people down because they came into the call-back interview dressed casually, not realizing they are NOT in the door yet.

They probably had written you off for something stupid you said or did, and used your suit as a polite excuse to turn you down.

Why didn't you wear the shirt from your pic. related instead, lad?

That was still the ideal look which is all that matters, the ideal look now is a commoner garb (yoga pants, etc)

>not being able to buy used cars
>falling for the dealership meme
>buying a car without your mechanic present

It's summer in Phoenix bro. Do you really think it's worth it to change underwear three times a day? That's a lot of laundry, take it from me (do you not care about the environment?). I will stick to my breathable shorts, and leave chronic crotch rot to the more distinguished types.

1920s man working out

Lol I got fucked. I was driving my stepdad's beat up old explorer when he got different hours at work and was like "You need your own car, like, now". I had to work the next day. We went to the local nissan dealership and I bought the cheapest new car in America. I don't have particularly good credit and had no money for a down payment. It was my only option and I regret it every single day.

I drive a 2016 Nissan Versa S. It's worth about $7,000 and I owe just under $14,000, at 15.88% APR.

The whole 60's-70's cultural thing probably.

Linen suits are perfect for the summer months. Don't know about the black shirt though. Wouldn't be caught DEAD wearing a black dress shirt!

Implying you ever leave the house
