Look at this anime movie by Kyoto Animation released last year , Koe no katachi, it was expected to be a big hit and it certainly was.
This is the first time I've seen a race mixed couple in anime, the nigger husband doesn't get much screentime and the mother doesn't get Any at all but shes Japanese (sister of MC's mum). The half breed offspring gets a lot screen time however.

well, the Wikipedia article says that the immigration rule applied to up to three generations of decedents. After three generations of racemixing, it's certainly possible a decedent of a Japanese immigrant would have dark features.
