I hate tattoos

What is your honest opinion of tattoos and the people who have them?

Personally, I can't stand them and I hate how everyone is covered in them now. To me, tattoos represent degeneracy: substance abuse, criminal behavior, mental illness, etc.

It's getting to be impossible to find someone who DOESN'T have tattoos. I have this sinking feeling that our society and culture are going to collapse very, VERY soon.

People with tattoos may as well have STUPID written on their forehead in my opinion
I ignore them
Never employed them
Feel pity for them and their tragic lives

Waste of money. A tattoo isn't something you can use. Its just a picture that sits on your arm that looks like shit in 20 years when it starts to fade. If you're in a financial crisis, you can't sell a tattoo to get money.

>I'm not an interesting person
>maybe if I get a shit load of tattoos people will think I'm interesting
It's like this one guy I know with a ridiculous beard. He doesn't talk about anything else besides his beard because he has nothing else going on

I don't care about tattoos.

Anyone who gets a tattoo is an attention whore which almost always means there's some other mental problems at play

There are bigger things to worry about than fucking tattoos.

OP, you're a faggot. This is a politics board, not your personal blog. Fuck you and fuck off.

Tattoos are an automatic red flag. Shows that someone has absolutely no foresight and makes bad decisions.

What are some other obvious red flags?

I never understood the idea of tattoos. Why would you mark yourself with something you find cool at the moment but will very likely cringe in 10 years? We all make mistakes in life but a tattoo is a 24/7 constant reminder of that tattoo... and its on your skin for everyone to see too. Why would you want that?

If you're a warrior, you can have tats. If you have 'art' of buzzlightyear on your 'sleeve', you can get fucked you braindead oxygen theif.

Well it stemmed from being part of the tribe didn't it. Brittons had tats when being a Britton meant anything at all. That made sense, and I imagine was really useful for social cohesion.

I got a tattoo in a "rebellious period" of my life .... but I was smart enough to put it on my back shoulder blade. The exact reason I said back then, was I didn't want to be 80 years old at a Church picnic, with tattoos showing. On the rare occasions you find me with my shirt off, if my back was turned to you, you'll see it. Otherwise, nobody knows. In all honesty, I wish I did not have it, but it's in a place that "I" can't see it.

While it's certainly not true to suggest that all people getting tattoos are stupid, I've never seen a truly intelligent, educated, well adjusted and productive member of society that opted to have some picture permanently drawn onto their body.

I'm sure there are exceptions. Some people may just have a 'thing' for tattoos and be really into them, but generally speaking tattoos are a little bit of a dunce hat that you can't take off and have to pay for yourself.

I'm the owner of a multi-million company and never once have I considered allowing a tattooed person to work for me.

They're scum, their skin belongs on a lampshade.

You don't need a tattoo to be a degenerate, substance abuser, criminal, or have a mental illness, etc. Otherwise you would have an asshole tattoo on your forehead to warn people of what a prejudical dickhead you are towards other people.

meh depends... I have a bunch of tattoos but i got them over time and can tell you what they all stand for

these tards that decide they want to be tatted up and go get a full sleeve of some bullshit are just retarded.

Sharpie in pooper

There are definitely a few tattoos that I have seen on people that I think look cool. Other than that, most of them look horrible. Girls get stupid tattoos in the sense that they are so typical (aka a flower, anchor, birds, or a date). Guys get silly tattoos that just look stupid, and reflect stupidity. I think army guys can have tattoos, because they're badasses. My gf and I have both agreed we're never going to get one, and my parents have been telling me since I was young to never get one. I honestly cant think of anything that is so important/influential in my life currently that will also be important in my life in the future. Aka I dont think a Rocket League tattoo would be as meaningful in 10 years lol.

i do agree it can be degenerate. however, i have a discreet tattoo of a military insignia, most of us got them. it's not visible with everyday clothing.

some ladies i've banged have had interesting ones, i like the ones that aren't visible unless they're naked or in beachwear. some very visible ones have just made it harder for hate-fucking since degeneracy etc

Every race has a left side of the bell curve.

I don't have a very good memory and the experiences surrounding the people that I was with during the various times I got my tattoos are more easily recalled in vivid sentiment when I am able to reflect on the ink. It was satisfying finding the right artists and styles to execute on and I took years finding the appropriate women to get the needle from. I've gotten nothing but compliments about my tattoos from the people in my life, my clients, and strangers. When people ask me about my tattoos I'm able to reference earlier periods in my life and what I was doing at that time so they have a better understanding of me as an individual.

There's a right and wrong way to go about anything.
