This. Read Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality.

Just playing devils advocate, but wasn't the "redpill" created by the Wachowski sisters?

using a pop culture reference to describe having seen and attempted to filter out more information than your average human

=/=

using a pop culture reference in an attempt to justify support of an ideology that at its root is self hating

Yes, so what? Being a trap is the ultimate redpill

Is this a lotr thread?

fpbp

harry potter is a book series about kids going to school and having a ghey principal

the matrix is about man vs machine and cave raves

wow OP you're almost as wise and smart as Dumbledore xD

Those skin suits parading around as them are poor excuses for replacements

faggot

one is more of single allegory, something like platos cave, the other is a poorly written childrens book, while I don't particularly like the other 2 matrices, the first one has more then enough good parts and redeeming scenes for me to forgive people for using the term.

Harry Potter is true education. I mean you have to read 7 books. That's more than you learn in entire university curriculum. Harry Potter readers are the intellectual elite of today.

>redpill used simply as a synonym for "educate"

VERSUS

>relate everything Republicans back to Harry Potter and Star Wars

If you can't tell the difference then you don't really belong here.

Why would anyone want to read that Gary Stu self-insert drivel?

Why does everyone have a lethal wand... check mate

>Harry Potter is a story of a weak-willed pussy who escapes the harsh real world and enters a fantasy world where everyone loves him

>Matrix is about escaping the fake, comfortable world and entering the harsh real world, because the main character values truth over all else.

Both are a good analogy for the left and the right's respective values.

Consuming the product of trannies is as bluepilled as it gets. Anyone who unironically uses such terms is no true Sup Forumsack

Why would anyone want to read something as poorly written as the original Harry Potter?

oy vey goys better believe the media!
