Those were expedited, meaning, if they were snatched within 100 miles of the border and couldn't prove they'd been here less than 2 weeks, they were dumped to the other side of the border and a tick mark went into the "deported" box.
So we have a ~70% decrease in illegal border crossings [2] of which 80% of Obama's deportations came from and deportations are down only 1.2%...
I'm not a math guy and not going to do the long division on that. But it seems to me on the face that means interior deportations are up.
