Communisms flaw was it's hypocracy and bad economic HANDLING. Not bad economic/social end goal. It did not factor in the human condition but forced upon the human a state rather than evolving the human state to be a conscientious unit.
i.e it did not prepare people to make wise requisition choices to prepare them for their personal work as the limited supply (esp if you are an autarky rather than a global operation) would not meet demand. Demand for what purpose? What are those making the requisition acheiving? This is what capitalism was better at. Awarding those who were most filled with purpose.
Communist states might have been homogenous but that does not mean they were not also degenerate.

Soviet communism didn't aim to make us brown. It aimed to kill off our national identity by forcing Russian language and culture on people who saw it as foreign as Chinese. And killing off most of our higher class intellectuals, patriotic military leaders, scientists, and political figures who weren't pro-Russian.

The U.S. government might not hold itself accountable, but there are actually groups here that attempt to. Try doing that in a communist country. Hell, try doing that in Russia.
