Brutalism alone is intolerable, and intentionally designed to destroy our souls by depriving us of art and beauty in our world.
The worst of it is that traditional architecture is often less expensive than the modernist style, despite its intricacy and ornateness, simply because of the materials and engineering required. Glass, metal, and concrete are also awful insulators and cost a fortune to heat.

It's ugly and quite the scandal in France. Many people have petitioned that it be removed.
