Most of these "ethical concerns" are about kids having advantages over their peers. That used to be called "good parenting" and we used to enjoy watching kids excel to become great inventors, leaders, and businessmen for everyone's benefit.
Look to the negative space. The ethical concern they won't cry about is altering our genes to make us less aggressive, ensuring a more docile and compliant citizenry.
