Why does the US look like this?

why does the US look like this?

why does the EU look like this?

Does the radical freedom the free market provides intimidate you, comrade?

Say thanks to France and Germany, and their "illuminate" Noveaux Regime.

>tfw drove through that exact spot last month
I knew I recognized it from somewhere.

jews

Because you posted a picture of a truckstop.

Fuck off jew cunt.
Turning your people into resources and commodities while flooding your homeland's landscape with corporate logos is a fucking disgrace.

looks comfy m8 and to answer your question OP it looks like its a truck stop, of course there's gonna be a fuckload of gas stations and stores.

fpbp

young country
some places look like this
next

>You're not allowed to build stuff or advertise
fucking what

>can get gas, food, gourmet coffee, souvenirs, etc and visit a large forest filled with wildlife all in the same couple of miles

oh the oppression, communism save me!

It's comfy af been there it's actually a very clean rest stop in general with some nice restaurants. FUCK OFF EURO.

>why does the US look like this?

It does not.

Although small truck stop towns like that are pretty comfy.

capitalism
this is the land of opportunity baby!!!
besides we have the most varied and beautiful natural places to see in this country when we get tired of the hustle and bustle

Because the entire country is just a giant truck stop. There really aren't any beaches or mountains or big cities or small towns or miles of open country. It's just truck stops, thousands of miles of nothing but truck stops. We don't even have schools anymore. Just information kiosks at the never ending truck stop that is our nation.
BTW your flag is gay

>35 mph
>in the middle of nowhere

well its a town sooo, yea

Because most of America is connected by highways and trucking is per capita the most common job in America. You only see places like this along major highways far away from population centers

Yeah because all American cities look like that...
>Thinking a small rest stop off the highway represents all of the US
>Being this dumb

whats gonna happen when trucking goes fully automated

Because, retarded Eurofag, you're showing a photo of a rural truckstop area where there are shitloads of signs to catch the attention of drivers coming through whatever fucking interstate this was taken on.

Why does Europe look like my pic? Genuinely curious.

Is it by any chance a place in Pennsylvania where two major highways meet and you have to get off one highway and drive through that stretch of road to get on the other one?

It looks like a place that I drove through a couple of years ago.

this. literally the middle of nowhere, op. but i'm guessing you already knew that, what with this being a bomb ass troll thread and all.

>Tfw driving to altoona
>tfw stopped at sheetz to see a post about the town I was just in 15 minutes ago

FBI chan, is that you...

believe it or not, branlet NEET, but truckstops are actually very important to the infrastructure of america. semi trucks are also very large and cumbersome to manuever and high speeds on roads with a large concentration of semi trucks can spell disaster, but i wouldnt expect you to understand concepts like momentum.

Those are rest stops though

Babby's first time reading Marx.

'Tsooo cute

>Pennsylvania
Ayyyyy Ridley park, PA reporting in

Why is it always Breezewood? What exactly makes this exit some kind of classic piece of Americana? I pass through there all the time. It's just an exit. You could use New Stanton or Somerset, and that's just route 76.

What is it about this place that invokes this question?

This. Allowing corporations to sodomize our beautiful landscape with fast food joints, billboards, shitskin casinos, etc. is a travesty.

thanks for that completely unrelated comment special friend

And yet we don't have that issue in Arizona. 45mph at the least.

>i'd much rather have no where to eat/get gas on a long drive
mm k

>shitting on Pennsylvania
Fuck off based Sheetz is there.

it's not like it will happen overnight and truck drivers do a lot more than just drive

Yes, it is.
I came in from the opposite direction and there's a big forest on the opposite side of the camera.

What's the problem?
Am I missing something?

i find it hard to believe there are no speed limits under 45

no shit, nobody cares about your irrelevant spic region, moron. east coast masterrace.

>nd truck drivers do a lot more than just drive
like what

It's called the interstate system faggot.

I-90 and I-76 are connected by that stop.

This looks like a comfy nowhere town I stop at while on a comfy road trip with my senpai.

Ew. Wawa faggot

Aha, it is the place that I drove through a few years ago. I just looked it up.
I distinctly remember passing through it on my road trip from Kansas City to Washington, D.C.

I think what makes it memorable is the weird highway layout in the area. Highway 70 pretty much forces you to drive through it.

It's right by the highway interchange. Tons of merging, intersections, turns, etc. 35 mph is plenty.

Because that is an interstate exit. It is possible it is the only exit for dozens of miles. It will therefore have restaurants, gas stations and hotels for travelers.

If you moved farther into the city and away from the interstate you would see suburban neighborhoods, parks and schools.

Euro's who see pictures of it assume all of America looks lie thins because their tiny irrelevant countries can be summed up in one or two photos they assume the same for America. Also they assume that anything that doesn't look like the tiny village they where born in is wrong.

This. Many american cities exist due to people driving though, usually truck drivers and people on vacation or business travel. These towns are super easy to recognize as they all look like the OP's picture. They are built and designed to have their "downtown" be something someone out of town can easily get off the interstate highway, then quickly see where they can get gas, food, and lodging.

Other cities that are not built off interstates and meant to serve the people passing through on said highway look more like the town pictured here, which has its purpose in farming and the downtown is meant to serve the residents who live and work there. The larger cities dont look like this as they are typically avoided by interstate traffic due to congestion and confusion, unless its the desired destination. Youve all seen pictures of these cities and they look nothing like the OP's picture.

A good chunk of america, especially rural small town america, is built for a single purpose, and for most that purpose involves people getting low on fuel and hungry on their car trip across country or across the state and the more inviting it looks from the highway the more customers get off and spend money.

I can vouch when on a long car trip ill avoid the small towns where i cant see a good gas station and non shit tier restaurant to get off, ill skip towns that look more like the OP's picture and go to the ones with more than just fast food and gas stations, however a trucker might want a quick meal and gas and be back on the road in 15-20 min, pictured town is perfect for that, he can find the food and gas he needs without knowledge of the town and get back on the road with minimal wasted time. That is the purpose of the OP's town.

Clean up Rome the remnants are cool and all but it reminds me of chicago.

...

Looks like a freeway exit for freeway travelers

A better question would be, why does the US look like this???

smoke meth

Looks comfy

kek. i'm pretty sure we can get self driving trucks to emulate that.

Yeah this looks like a truck stop area by a freeway

this is a slide thread you imbeciles, this exact image was posted here before.

>1 post by this ID

thisIsWhyIGasPeople.png

:( i got bored

because the only state worse than pensylvania is jersey.

>muh gas stations

yo thats breezewood i go there all the time

When travelers or truckers get off or on interstate highways the most desired businesses are gas or food.

...

A meth smoking truck driver quickly becomes a meth smoking former truck driver. You've gotta toot that shit. Pipe takes you straight to the gutter.

if it makes you feel any better, i was trying hard to derail these bullshit threads, then got banned for spamming, so yea

Very interesting explanation, sums it all up.

Gtfo here nog.

PA is not bad faggot especially when you go to God's country.

>Because most of America is connected by highways and trucking is per capita the most common job in America.

For now. You don't think those google self-driving cars are really about cars, do you?

write 'sage' in the options field to not bump while replying

That's a truck stop. There's probably a few hookers and a coke/meth dealer somewhere around there.

I live in Milwaukee, and the stretch between Milwaukee and Chicago is the most trucker-heavy segment of highway in the world and every little town between Chicago and Milwaukee looks like that from the freeway, from Racine to Kenosha to Gurnee to Skokie

>Also they assume that anything that doesn't look like the tiny village they where born in is wrong.

Honestly I'd much rather live in a place like this than a soulless american development. I grew up in a pre-war housing development that was one of the oldest in my town so all the houses were unique and actually built with care, whenever I'd drive through one of the new developments where every fucking house is identical it honestly sucked the soul out of me.

yea nigga i know, though i think i forgot last time

Because many of the cities were designed around cars.

id rather hunt and farm my food with my small tribe of people
fuck off

wheres that?

>my house has 3 electrical outlets!
yea fuck that

That town literally exists to feed truckers and it's not representative of America in any way

Nigga they got mad nachos and police radar in that shit. Coffee? you want the 32 ounce or the large?

I haven't seen a sunoco in over 10 years

well i want to eat taco bell and shit post from their wifi while i drive across the damn country

Fpbp

Western PA. The shit part of PA borders NJ.

Because it's the greatest country in the world.

because our love of capitalism is so strong we let it kill us of cancer at 60

Because thats a commercial highway to u fucking idiot. We have something called an economy in this country.

Turn. Leave the area meant for buying shit. Then kys.

This image is a very accurate representation of American highways.

The United States looks like this due to capitalism. The Jewish need for shekels permeates the entirety of the nation.

I would love to visit the U.S. but am worried I would not like the people there.

god this looks awful
if youre gonna eat shit mexican just go to taco bell or Tijuana Flats

>why does a highway interchange have lots of gas stations and fast food joints

Exactly, in the US you can find everything from 200 year old houses to 2 month old McMansions and everything in between, why would you want to give that level of choice up?

There is nothing more comfy then going on a mini 4-5 hour roadtrip in the evening with friends. Euroshits will never know this feel.

visit the south and don't be a dick, you'll be fine

We like food a lot more than the rest of you. It's the main reason our ancestors moved here. I suspect it's genetic at this point.

probably because this photo is probably 15+ years old

the last time i remember seeing that form of taco bell sign was in the 90's

there's just so much about this scene that can be easily criticized. that's why it's a slide thread. an outrageous statement easily knocked out of the park.

In America 100 years is old, in Europe 100 miles is far.

Its a highway meant for commerce not site seeing. We didnt build interstates for sight seeing.

It was adolfs idea for fucks sake

Again turn, leave the area meant for buying shit.
