Not really, Italians generals were bickering at the initial invasion and disobeyed orders. As soon as generals started obeying orders, Greeks were put down. Germans were only called to speed up the process so Italian troops could head up to Stalingrad. This story is a common myth about the war, and in fact, the 'german help' was mostly needed for Yugoslavia, not Greece.
You are right though, Italians sure as hell had no animosity towards Greeks, my grandfather was stationed in Rhodes and nearly married one of you over there. Italian occupiers tried to be as nice as possible.
I will say this though, you deserved to the invasion. You had a Fascistic government that was financed mostly by Mussolini, Italy had paid for a lot of your infrastructure and developments. You didn't have to join the axis, but unofficially helping the British war effort was basically treason and a stab in the back.

The Italians retreated into Albania while their generals were being disciplined, after which, they recaptured 90% of Albania an fought you on the border. This is between Oct 28th and November 13th, you're two week little 'conquest' is not impressive. It was a tactical retreat that was actually really successful. The Italians played possum.
Then you threw your entire army at Italy's in the last shred of Albania you had, lost it in January, and continued to waste your resources until the start of February, of which the Axis just walked in and occupied your entire country by April. Pretty easy win. Germany arrived when your army was basically destroyed, with the remained stuck in the mountains... you see the tactic?

You are forgetting that Hitler had to change plans due to the Italians failure to invade. Hitler was not planning to invade Greece initially, that was the Italians' job. He even blamed Mussolini, because the change of plans affected the invasion of Russia.
Also, the Greeks ally with the British in all the wars. There is too much collaboration between Greek and British navy to make anything else viable.

This is sort of true, except don't believe the officially narrative of the war as it's mostly mythologised to suit certain 'needs'.
Firstly, no power in the war were real allies, every single power, from France to Britain and even Italy, were playing every man for himself. The idea was to get everybody else to destroy themselves so the last man standing could clean up the scraps. Mussolini never intended on helping Hitler in the long run, they had an love/hate relationship. Mussolini wanted to take British and French possessions in the Med, and help Hitler take out communists and USSR (they didn't actually 'collaborate' much elsewhere France, Italy invaded France and controlled the Med Sea on its on accord). Anticipating American intervention, Mussolini was secretly planning to abandon Hitler and become America's 'only' Ally, which is why he desperately wanted Hitler to bomb and invade Britain. This is the secret reason why Hitler refused to destroy Britain, he knew it would open a back door for the Americans into Germany through Italy. In fact it did happen anyway, because Italy had a 'civil war' to side with Americans, which Mussolini let happen. The true story of the war is complicated, but I will say the Greeks were brave.
