>Why did it all go so wrong?

1991 last time I checked.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soviet_Union

>using Mio for gommie propaganda
It went wrong about that time

>inb4 slide

Jews created USSR to subjugate Russia and to experiment with socialism/communism. They had enough with it and just shut it down.
Now they moved on to USSR 2.0 - EU.

Communism.

Inevitable thanks to the disastrous first months of Operation Barbarossa.

From the start. And I don't mean it in a Sup Forums way. Lenin died far too soon, which provoked a huge succession crisis, which was ended by Stalin with huge causalities.

That's why USSR collapsed and China prospers.

>unsustainable system
>outspent in arms race
>Afghanistan war
>Chernobyl

I wanna pet a snek. CUTE

Fall of the Tsar

Was it not the Perestroika`s failure and too rabid reforms towards the end? I mean post-stalinist soviets still managed to live on for good 4 decades.

>Lysenkoism.

No more money

wow that info graphic sounds exactly like whats happening today in america. weren't most women before the 70s home makers and a family of 4 kids and the mother could do off one income?

This
the cold war only stopped because the infiltration was complete

>Russia was poor
>Everyone blamed the Tsar
>Communism arrives
>Russia still poor
>Capitalism arrives
>Russia still poor
>???
Maybe Russia just sucks

Because communism doesn't work.

gommunism, that's what went wrong

nah it's well known now too, that Reagan led and all out economic war against them, and in the end the system collapsed. It was bound to crash anyways, this was your real ebin empire.

The funny fact about this, that internally the US actually believed that they would fall and become gommunists eventually, and that it was superior....

Their fishspies were clearly not good at what they did, we always knew it was just a facade and really rotten to the core. Even their border guards were always starving so people gave them their rations or a chocolate if they encountered them alone. Such things could get you jailed for treason, but everyone did it anyways

The first time when Stalin got to power
The second time when Brezhnev got to power leading to stagnation, preservation of political elite at all costs and dependence on oil money, after him USSR had no hope, it was a matter of time for USSR to fall

cos the poor werent oppressed, just stupid
on average they are uglier, weaker, and have lower intellect

communism is about being unproductive and saying 'i being exploited' instead of being eliminated in the free market and replaced by more productive person

>Capitalism arrives
>Russia still poor
Russia was not exactly a bastion of economic freedom in its post communist years. The only real way to fuck up capitalism is for the government to get too involved, which it did in this case.

From 1917.

Because nothing really changed.
They killed the king and put another king in his place.
They seized the means of production so that Stalin could drink wine from a crystal glass.

>have no warm water ports
>hurr durrrr my ideology

physics > ideology

>which it did in this case
Lol, we had a great lesson of economic freedom in the 90s, nobody wants to repeat these blessed times

She'd probably die in a gulag. Go do some history.

You were just as bad in the 90's. You guys have been nothing but shit this whole time, you can't even do freedom right.

...

>You
>You
>You
Blah-blah
Got anything reasonable to say or just keep spurting meme shit to feel good about yourself? Go on, be my guest, ancap.

>Why did it all go so wrong?

that whole "dictatorship of the proletariat" thing didn't work out as planned

He asked why not when, you stupid bong

Whatever gets you through the winters user. I'm not the one who has to live in Russia.

The first time when Khruschev got in power. After the death of Stalin the true successor was supposed to be Beriya. The problem is, he saw that the current system wouldn't last long, so he planned to democratize the USSR and heavily curb the power of the CPSU. The ruling elite didn't like it, so he got GULag'd and Khruschev was put in his place. You know the rest - centralization of the government, falling for the Cold War meme, etc.
The second time when Gorbachev got in power. This fucker was a western plant and, along with the basically infinite power, managed to completely fuck the country up in 6 years.

dont shit on mio you commie nigger

>Russia was not exactly a bastion of economic freedom in its post communist years
Actually the opposite is true.
When the Soviet Union was dissolved Boris Yeltsin open Russia doors to American free market economists. They recommended removing price controls, privatizing all state industries and giving people shares in state industries. Initially prices skyrocketed, inflation was out of control, factories had to pay workers in the goods they produced. People sold their share to pay for food, which a handful of rich elites purchases for a fraction of their real value. Yeltsin had to sell the rest of Russia's industry to the oligarchs in exchange for loans just to keep the government running.

Vladimir Putin is in power now because free market democracy failed in Russia.

>Implying the Soviet Union wasn't a wretched den of corruption, persecution, poverty, alcoholism, war, and pollution.

youtube.com/watch?v=uAD7XPgN9ek

Works for you, ancap. I'm not the one believing in absurd economic systems.

How exactly did inflation go up?

But you are the one who has to live in them.

Ancap, we are capitalists now

Capitalist, yes, free market, no.

>not real capitalism

It's funny how people like to blame others for their own sins. "IT'S NOT REAL CAPITALISM!!!"

Communism by design fails, because if no one has property and everyone is on the dole from the government, there's no reason to compete, no reason to innovate. So capitalistic economies that work on an inherently evolutionary competitive basis will always win.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1998_Russian_financial_crisis

Prices hiked up so high, they were divided by thousand after the crisis

>even knowing who these faggy anime girls are
You got problems, kid. See a p-doc.

>a ancap is clueless about the subject at hand, yet pretends to be authoritative

Figures.

>free market capitalism tanked
>"hurr durr it's the fault of subhumans, not of the system. Capitalism dindu nuffin"

>free market
Do you believe in unicorns too? There is no free market on Earth, just different shades of crony capitalism.

>Capitalist, yes
You do know how to read, yes? Surely the state isn't that bad at education?

What'd Gorby do that fucked up the USSR?

Jesus Christ, you've just said 'NOT A REAL CAPITALISM' and I missed this golden opportunity

> no wars on Soviet soil 1945-1992
> total of one war in neighbouring client state
> no use of nuclear weapons, partnered with USA in nuclear disarmament
> willingly dissolved against its own peoples democratically polled wishes

"land of constant war"

This, because its not like Soviets build the worlds first satellite or developed any technology during their excistance.

Ok. So why did Perestroika and reforms happened and who allowed them to take place and fail?

> I mean post-stalinist soviets still managed to live on for good 4 decades.
Well, Rome doesn't fall in a day.

Social systems often have an inverse relation between stability and their ability to achive fulfillment of social values.
Example: A anarchistic society is extremely stable because of it's high level of decentralisation but achives very little in ways of social values such as care for the elderly, science, preservation of nature, care for animals etc.
However a highly complex system, such as communism that is to a high degree centralised, fullfill these values (in theory atleast, assuming little to no corruption) whilst sacrificing stability.

TL:DR: The more centralised the society, the higher the risk for collapse.

Jews have similar foresight to niggers. Literally nothing they have any hand in is any way expected to last because they're worthless.

>Why did it all go so wrong?

you hide your flag and you watch anime, that's why

Once Russian nationalists named the Jew and expelled them from government positions, they sought to further reduce their influence by creating several Russian state run banks.

They removed Rothschild control. This was in 1987. Rothschild controlled central banks and world financial markets devalued the Russian currency ruthlessly in retaliation, leading to the fall of the Soviet Union.

Wrong. Every kind of society has its own weaknesses. If it keeps them in check, it remains stable.

E.g. Chinese Empire was infinitely more complex than Post-Roman Europe, but also much more stable.

Socialism != communism

>look, look! the soviet union invented one thing!
>while its people were starving
>and the invention didnt solve their hunger

whats the point of invention if it doesnt benefit you? to be recorded on history books?
>commies literally believe that

When that bastard Lenin started the dumb may may.

There WERE free markets on Earth, in the early days of civilization when government's were not centralized and currency didn't exist. People would go to some simple market, trade their wheat, potatoes, pigs and go on their day.

>total of one war in neighbouring client state
USSR fought in Afghanistan, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Ukraine, Poland, and the Baltic states after WW2.
>against its own peoples democratically polled wishes
They had to send Central Asian soldiers to fire upon protesters in eastern Europe because the whites wouldn't fire upon their own people. Every non-Russian ethnic group wanted to break away. You can only rule with an iron fist for so long.

He liberalized the economy in an incompetent way. Started selling everything the government owned but didn't have the money for it, inflation skyrocketed, oligarchs bought most of the economy, then the government re-established it's power over the economy, keeping the oligarchs in control.

>first satellite
that's the only innovation they ever did.

they lost the space race.

if everybody is on the take from the gov, why compete?

if you're not competing, why innovate?

if you don't innovate you lose to those who do.

>Why did it all go so wrong?
Cause it was dead until it was born. Commies can't set a price for anything, due the planning economy, Didn't hear the joke about feeding pigs bread, cause it's cheapper then corn? Actualy that was not a joke. This idiology should be banned as nazi to save people and nevermore get back. It turns people to commbies, who can't fight fo their rights, when another of them are turned to absolutley crazy thiefs. Oh God take me out of here, I think I'm already about to self-immolation at redsquare.

The whole world at the moment utilizes Soviet boosters - despite it being 30 years old technology. So this single fact: that Soviet space program BTFOed American in terms of efficiency and utility (the only thing it did was putting a man on a Moon just for memes), basically, invalidates your ramblings about competitiveness.

Read about Stalin's economics, it worked better than free market

>America uses Russian boosters
>Russia uses American capitalism
Sounds like a fair trade.

What good is a space program if life on the ground is miserable?

>that Soviet space program BTFOed American in terms of efficiency and utility
yes, mostly because the burgers fell for the shittle meme
but then you drunkards fell for it too, although not as hard

>What good is a space program if life on the ground is miserable?
Yeah. fuck all education, progress and development if you are already not the richest man in the world.

Worked better than the NEP and worked better than the slightly decentralized soviet system that followed it for sure.

Seems like extreme free market or extreme command economy is the only way to go. Any mixture of the two just results in inefficiencies. Likely because anything in between is almost always subject to change via democratic interaction.

what specifically ?

also the no competition is kind of a meme

people who didn't work got gulaged and government workers/engineers/scientists/whatever who were really productive were rewarded with being relocated into big cities where life was better, nice apartments and skipping the line on limited goods like cars.

What happened in Russia in the 90s is just capitalism's final form. It would have happened in the west long ago but we keep voting in left wing governments that redistribute wealth and reset the balance.

Usually making sure your people have food comes before getting to space on the list of priorities, but I guess since Russian lives are worth less than American lives the Soviets would have viewed things differently.

>It would have happened in the west long ago
Like in Switzerland? Or Chile? Or Hong Kong?

Stop this fucking lie. It never works, usable only for copping in time of total backlog

I used to be a big Marxist-Leninist at one day, and one of the things that made me really re-evaluate my beliefs was seeing that this Australian's blog I would occasionally read, casually mentioned his pornography usage. Then another post, he defended it. His whole life was communist shit and porn. I didn't want that to be me, I already was on the verge of quitting porn and his pathetic existence solidified the decision. The next few months, I really started evaluating my own belief system. I wonder if you are that guy. You had a post about Stalin's collected works.

It's actually not theorised that there only predicesor to quantifiable liquid capital (like using gold or wheat as currency) was small scale communal "credit" systems in pre-civilisation villages where the communities simply pooled resources. Large scale trade and barter may have never truly existed to some extent. Simply meaning, there were no "trade and batter markets". Only personal trade and barter.

It's just a theory. Could be a ghazie propaganda theory though.

helicopters got invented.

Living in squalor isn't my idea of progress.

So?

Everybody built hisown and got fuck out of that hell.

Actually that would make a funny comedy sketch. Sinners in hell find a way to get out, use it en masse and swarm the heavens.

If there's a lack of prostestutes that scarcity needs to be fixed.
