New study estimates Illegal immigrants cost taxpayers nearly $750 billion over lifetime:

>Deporting the country’s estimated 11 million illegal immigrants would cost nearly $125 billion, but allowing them to remain in the U.S. could cost taxpayers far more, according to a new report being released

>Thursday by a think tank that wants to see stricter immigration limits.
Steven A. Camarota, research director at the Center for Immigration Studies, crunched the numbers and found that the current population of illegal immigrants will drain nearly $750 billion from taxpayers over their lifetimes — amounting to six times the deportation costs.

>“Sometimes people say look, we couldn’t deport everybody because it’s prohibitively expensive,” Mr. Camarota said. “But if your only concern is fiscal cost, it’s pretty clear that letting them stay is a hell of a lot more expensive.”

>Mr. Camarota adjusted that study for illegal immigrants and concluded that those with advanced degrees are a $424,000 boon to the U.S. over their lifetime, but those who dropped out of high school are a $173,000 drain. Overall, it works out to a net cost to taxpayers of nearly $63,000 per illegal immigrant.

>A study last year by the American Action Forum concluded that deporting all illegal immigrants and stopping unauthorized newcomers would sap the economy of $1 trillion.

>Mr. Camarota, though, took the average dollar amount for deportations in 2016 and put the cost at $10,854 per person, or $124.1 billion for the 11 million total. Using numbers from 2012, when authorities set a record for deportations while spending less, the total came to under $6,000 per deportation, or $67.6 billion for the total population.

Why do people keep pushing this meme that illegal immigration somehow helps the economy?

>Why do people keep pushing this meme that illegal immigration somehow helps the economy?

Because they want it to be true.

This is obvious. The 3rd world is shit because it's full of them.
The real reason to bring them is to speed up unification of the US with Canada and Mexico.

The meme isn't about the total benefit, but the specific sectors they serve. Whites, blacks and asians aren't going to be picking produce, every attempt to get them to do so ends terribly not only doing shitty work but taking product home.

Raw numbers it looks profitable to remove them, looking at real consequences it'd be a horrific collapse.

Other service industries would take a hit, but nothing quite so drastic.

>it'd be a horrific collapse

[citation needed]

Mr. Shlomo Shekelbergstein will have to learn to pay his employees fairly and work within the rules instead of being a massive drain on the economy.

Illegal aliens are exploited as essentially free labor, and the actual costs of their existence are borne by the taxpayer, not by the labor they endure. They do the jobs "We don't want to", because in either a free market or a socialist state, those jobs would be illegal (actually, they're already illegal, but there's not enough enforcement).

They're a strain on your infrastructure, medical facilities are required to treat them if they show up at an emergency room...

They commit a fuckload of fraud to get their kids in schools and to draw from the welfare system, and also other crimes.

There's no good argument for amnesty and unrestrained illegal immigration other than libertarian greed and leftist delusions.

The politucians of the 1960s thought it would at least keep the banks from collecting on the debt for their lifetimes. So did the ones after that, many of whom are still in power. Only now has the problem become so widespread that everyone can see the effects. But as the Russia business goes to show, politicians would rather burn away civilization in atomic fire instead of admitting they were wrong.

>whites and Asians are notoriously bad at agriculture

Don't you love humanity?

Thanks leaf

Kek, good one

>Whites, blacks and asians aren't going to be picking produce, every attempt to get them to do so ends terribly not only doing shitty work but taking product home.

BECAUSE THE WAGES ARE SHIT. Illegals lowering wages helps NO ONE but the farmer.

Of course, illegals are too fucking stupid to think about consequences.

reeeeeeeeee...thats how our spics and niggers are

>tfw Dakotas

$21billion in California. Good thing we give them free healthcare food housing and education.

Weird how suddenly the automation meme so beloved by you neoliberal scumbags is conviently forgotten when it comes to anything done by your new helot class.

I thought this was tax payment TO migrants but knew that couldn't be the case

>Cost of illegals in US due to entitlement fraud such as welfare, medicaid, emergency room bills unpaid, education for illegal children, incarceration...
>Conservative Estimate: $113 billion per year.

>Cost to build wall (most expensive estimate) is $15.3 million per mile or ~$30 billion.

>Cost to deport 11 million migrants: $124.1 billion

So total cost of wall and deportation of all illegals is $154 billion

$154 billion divided by $113 billion/year is 1.4 years to recoup all of the cost. And afterwards, the US would be saving $113 billion per year minus the cost of maintenance for the wall. Even if there's more than 11 million illegals (likely), or the cost for each deportation were doubled, it would still be worth it.

> tfw Californian

If we took this money we could have universal health care

>immigrants cost taxpayers
How much do immigrants bring in? That seems to have been conspicuously left out of the "study"

No sane non-partisan thinks immigrant contribute. That's just a liberal meme.

...

We shall see.

Trump is stopping welfare to immigrants for 1st five years. My guess is illegal immigration will go down. We shall see who picks those crops.

Don't worry, they are headed your way Leaf!

>Enemy of the American People.

Fucker doesn't even hide his disdain. What a moron.

It's called " Chutzpah " . A jewish tactic to gain sympathy by being overly audacious

I get the tactic, but that's too much audacity. He should've stopped with the term "Elitist."

they forced over 3 million actual americans out of those jobs because you cant compete with someone for a job when they are willing to take 1/6 of the pay

Labor participation rate is dropping like a stone, so I definitely have to agree with you there. The problem is that the labor that dropped out of the labor force now as to be on the dole.
