ADF

I'll be joining the ADF next year.
I heard that there are some gay initiation rights involving faggot sex.

Is any of it true?

Only Navy
In Army you take a rifle barrel up the ass and for airforce you gotta sit on a joystick.

Everyone will see your tiny wiener in the shower. Don't drop the soap.

good choice faggot, have fun dying for israel

Good job comrade. Demoralize the people.

Isn't the coast guard a meme?

I won't be deployed anywhere, I'm just going for a year, its a gap year program

>tfw still unironically think about joining the muhrines even though i know everything bad about it

You only join the Navy if your gay or you don't have to have sex on the regular. The Air Force is the best force as far as standard of living.

Best food overall and always in air conditioned sleeping quarters.

Fucking dumb cunt
ADF is going full retard
Enjoy having obese women in your class and equality diversity , SEMPRO and NGN briefs
You're a fucking dumb cunt OP

Why not do your first stint as a combat job then reclassify to something technical?

Soggy Sao isn't gay.

Lol, you guys deploy too. Being in Uncle Sam's Canoe Club isn't immunity.

Jesus you dingoes are weird.

I was gonna try again to join but now I'm gonna pass

Current serving member here.

Don't join, it went down hill faster than I could imagine and I honestly feel bad for the fresh lids.

I'll be doing the same, pal. Gonna be a rifleman and hopefully get deployed so i can blow up some goat fuckers.

Let me guess, it got easier to join and anyone can join now

Initiaions are banned and that is a bad thing.

I never heard of anything gay happening, drinking motor oil was probably the worst I heard of.

this desu

My mate pissed out of the train carriage on a school trip in grade 5. Hit two other kids threw the window about 3 windows down. He was a skilled tactician.

Removing gates at kapooka is a disaster and everyone knows it.

But I'm actually refering to the rapid culture change over the last 5 years that has only made many jobs unbearable. This is reflected in retention rates.

Do explain?
Are more people getting raped?

>I heard that there are some gay initiation rights involving faggot sex.
Is that the reason behind you wanting to join?

No, it was one of the reasons of me not joining

Raped? No just bored to death.

Its hard to explain the culture side of things but in a nut shell the ADF is stamping out the things that made the job great in the first place.

It used to be standard that you would be initiated into your workplace, violence was encouraged between rival squadrons and you where expected to be part of the team not the other way around.

Now all of that is gone, except from some infantry battalions.

The initiation (gay shit) happens when you go north of the equator for the first time on an RAN vessel. Don't know if they still do it though.

I did not know about that, in the recuriting centre most of the people seemed decent, most of them came from the country.

The only negative thing I heard about the ADF is the disturbing cases of intitation rituals

Well fuck. I wanted to join and get into specialised Marksman.

Why the fuck does the USA needs 5 military branches for?
Navy, army, airforce, literally everything a country can need is covered vy thse three already, everything else is pure faggotry and a waste of money

I've signed up for Infantry, is it any good or has it turned fucked as well

Ex Navy here.

All the fun is gone mate. Its a baby sitter career for retards. Unless you're black, female and Muslim you'll have a shit time.

Use the clearance you get to get a better job. Have a 4 or 6 year exit plan and do courses to work towards that. Happy to talk in discord if you like.

Highly recommended not fucking up the opportunity to make them pay for courses. If you're posting on pol you probably won't be Normie enough to stay in for longer than a few years. The lack of career movement and OHS / equity diversity / anti drinking anti fun changed defence have made over the last 10 years have made it unbearable

Dude soldiers are barely tolerant of homosexuality let alone gayness at a Block party. Initiations are banned now but even then it was just "Frat house" bullshit with more fighting. Stop watching Sixty Minutes.

I don't know about the grunts man. At times they are the last bastion against the bullshit, at others they opitomise it. Really depends on the Battalion/Company.

Thanks for your advice, I was only thinking about serving for 1 year as part of the gap year program and then to save up money to buy cheap land in Eastern Europe (got family there)

I've thought about joining the ADF. Thing is though, I am also a UK citizen so it is possible to join the mother country's military.

I'm from Adelaide, South Australia, which for those that don't know is the most 'British' of the major cities of Australia.

So my question is, would it be wiser to join the UK's defence force instead of Australia's? I almost feel as though I'd have more of a culture shock serving with rural Australians than I would with poms.

Yea, but as you know the world has turned crazy and anything is possible, its better to ask just to remain on the safe side

Yeah I'm a half breed white with abbo in me.
I look white though so I'll get the short end of the stick.

I'm not quite sure, but every country and rural bloke that I have met have been good, decent and respected people.

But that is based on my experiences I'm not sure that if all country bloke are like that

youtu.be/3AVeXh63Mr0

My sister did the gap year and honestly it's not a bad experience. She stayed on as dental nurse, had a kid, got all the mat leave, subsidies housing costs and free medical and a degree paid for.

So there are benefits.. but I wouldn't say the career itself is a benefit.

For example if you do comms, Navy CIS or similar.. have them pay for CCNA through to CCNP and a heap of security certs, RPL some diplomas of government and project management and stuff and you'll come out after 6 year permanently employable..

Personally I wouldn't do it again. If I did I would join the army as an officer and try and get through Duntroon or something similar or gun for pilot in the Navy.

But yeah.. it became absolutely unbearable for me in the last few years and made me incredibly depressed. My div staff were leaving and didn't give a fuck. I hate it and still do. The best times I had were in strange countries, drunk as fuck when I shouldn't have been but that has almost been crushed out.

>Is any of it true?
I hope so.

I don't doubt that many of the country folks are great people. In my experience they tend to be nicer than city folk.

I was more referring to my ability to mesh with the group, I think I'd feel pretty alien around them.

SA and Adelaide in particular is a strange place, feels quite different to NSW for example (culture wise).

>Why the fuck does the USA needs 5 military branches for?
We don't have five. Most European countries, the relevant ones at least, have similar organizations.

Thanks for your comments

I hope you guys have a nice weekend.

Fake news. The usa has five (usmc, army, usn, uscg, usaf), most other countries (including euros) have three, with marines and coast guard being just part of the navy or a paramilitary force, not a fucking branch
At most they have joint this and that

>with marines and coast guard being just part of the navy or a paramilitary force
They have largely broken off whereas other countries have them as semi-autonomous branches.

New Generation Navy is great. Learning about dobbing on your mates if they stole a donkey was a truly life changing experience for me. It has taught me so much in life.

Nah, but fucken seriously, I left in 2012 I was an ET, did my 6 years.
I know earn $140KAUD in the mines, plus private health insurance, plus gold bonuses, 8/6 roster.

Fucken never ever looked back man.

Or police forces and militias

Don't be a fuckwit. Look for mining apprentices on Seek in WA. BHP, Westrac, RIO and a few others are hiring their new intake very shortly.

What's with the TH663

UK doesn't pay as much
