I loved those threads from last year
youtube.com
They were some of my first redpills
bamp, return of /comfy/
Yeah, these threads are great when people participate. Since Trump won, I haven't had that sense of looming destruction - until recently. Political polarization and leftist brainwashing are at absolute peak right now. I genuinely think this nation is being divided into two armies by the media, and the left hasn't stopped to ask itself if they really believe half of what they're being told.
We're watching a coup attempt in progress, in the most powerful nation in history, and most people seem oblivious to it's implications.

Watch the entire clip and watch how uncomfortable and slightly breathless Krauthammer is. Talking about hardcore Trump supporters as an army and about topics that do not frequently arise on such shows- breakdown of democracy, etc. The whole thing was very /zhg/.
Two years ago, I got the sense that something wasn't right. I don't know what it is, exactly. I don't know where it's headed and I have no idea when or what form it's going to take. I just have no clue. But I woke up one day and said "I'm going to buy a gun". I was getting it to prepare for that thing that's nagging me.
I told my wife I'm going to get a gun. I bought a Glock 19 and while I was there I picked up a 10/22 for survival purposes. I took them out and practiced my shooting. I caught the bug and bought an AR-15. Then I started buying up ammo. I have 3000 rounds right now.
I pulled together a bugout bag. I made one for my wife. And I started looking for people who want to come up with a plan. Almost everyone seems vaguely interested at first, but then they seem to settle in to their old ways almost immediately.
My wife digs into her bugout bag for lighters and leaves it disassembled on the floor. I've asked her a number of times if she wants to go over the contents and learn to use the stuff that's in there. She says yes, but never finds the time.
I told my brother in law that I'm trying to get ready and he said "If we lose law and order, and our way of life gets that bad, I don't even want to survive." My sister takes me seriously, and therefore seems to take my 'hobby' seriously too. But her husband is a retard, and I don't think he'll know what to do when the time comes. And this is how everyone seems now. Buried in their facebook, netflix, blogs, etc. It's like nobody even values living anymore, and if you took these conveniences away from them, they'd just rather curl up and die.
I've taken my bag out twice this summer and used it's contents to survive in the woods. I love it. I feel at home out there. But I know that if things really get tough, it's going to be a fucking nightmare for even the most prepared man. And that feeling has come back recently, like it's an inevitable fate.
Your wife and brother in law are NPCs. They don't run the script, you do. Don't hate them for their NPC-ness, savor it.
Yes - its a mathematical certainty as far as economics goes.
At least your sister understands and you are able to buy guns in your country.
If you are aware and responding to real life instead of this fake reality people create for themselves, you give yourself good odds

When will this debt based financial system collapse?
That's a chilling concept. Especially if you look at the last 60 years and see how things have changed for the common man, the family, etc. Fathers used to be able to provide for their whole family. That's almost a forgotten fact. Now both parents working barely covers the cost of living. People (myself included) fill our time up with electronics in a much more insidious way than we used to. Sitting and watching TV gets boring, but the internet rarely does. The cost of living has gone up in strange ways. Products are getting more expensive, and you're getting less. They reshape bottles to remove a few ounces from them without you noticing. They put the same food in green packaging and slap 'organic' on it so people won't feel weird about spending $8 on something that used to cost $4. They're sneaking all of these changes under our radar or disguising them as something else.
I still think there may be a massive change that unsettles the western world. Maybe I'm secretly hoping there will be, because there's nothing more pitiful than a continued slow decline. I imagine myself at 70, taking my food ration card to the supermarket and using my beef ration to buy my first steak in 9 months. Or riding the light rail into town with 80% shitskins on the train robbing all the whites they see. That's not the nation I want to see when I'm old. I don't want to live in a place like that. But it's headed that way.
I live in a place that's now flooded with muslims, africans, and southeast asians. I can't describe the lack of community here. You have to experience it to believe it. Nobody trusts anybody. Robberies are up. Africans are getting drunk and sleeping in the parks just 60ft from the children's playground. Last year kids played there. Now the parents don't bring them. My entire walk home from the train is just passing minorities. I rarely see a white person anymore. I live in Seattle, by the way. Entire swaths of it have been surrendered to them.
You sir are terrific and I would sign up for your newsletter.

NSA Whistleblower William Binney: The Future of FREEDOM
It stopped developing in 2001 after the dot com bubble and hasn't grown above those levels.
It collapsed in 2008 and they told us but no one noticed or reacted.
We're living in some economic purgatory limbo fueled by money printing and government stimulus.
It'll collapse when the government can't stimulate anymore and babyboomers realise their pensions (and lives) are completely fake and have fucked everything up.
