This recent election was supposed to play out as follows: Hillary Clinton runs against Sanders and Trump, Sanders gets pushed aside and Trump wins an upset. Its an elaborate sham, though, and the general populace are happy to gobble it up.

Trump was meant to be impeached or resign and Pence take over as POTUS.
