After watching "Look Who's Back" I felt a bit perplexed. This is a movie warning the German people that the backlash of right wing politics could result in a new Hitler. However... as someone who studied film production I'm conditioned to reading between the lines. Partly why I never watch (((TV))) anymore. I saw a different movie in the background. People familiar with how films push immorality or political views through nuance and innuendo will notice that this film is extremely sympathetic. A lot of factual information is presented and opportunities to make right wing politics absurd are missed.
While watching the new alien film I spent most my time identifying the scenes exposing people to sexual depravity. However, while watching "Look Who's Back", I tried to find moments that actually mocked or vilified Hitler. In the film his character is intelligent, sympathetic and eager to find the merit in anyone even people he supposedly hates. The ending tries to make sense of itself by having the protagonist try and stop Hitler only to be put in an Asylum and even then it feels obligatory. In short, the message is reduced to trivial as the film instead humanizes Hitler and far right politics. I'm not alone in this as many reviewers also commented on this divide.
One thought that came to mind was that perhaps the creators believed so wholeheartedly in their message that they didn't feel the need to falsify or exaggerate. This was the case in the movie Romper Stomper. But comparing Romper Stomper to Look Who's Back underlines my surprise. Romper Stomper was not even close to portraying skinheads as anything short of dumb and violent brutes. Now consider hitler in Look Who's Back mocking the caricature that movies have portrayed him as.
Those of you who have seen it, do you think this could be used as a low dosed red pill to get normies started?
Yes. It's a good film and I've had a few normies watch it as I drop some historical facts. Seen it 3 times now.
Gabriel Hughes
What about when he shot that dog? Real Hitler loved animals.
Aiden Jackson
I was pretty confused by the movie's message too. In the end i think it's that nationalism is a part of germany and the german people so if normies get the same feeling i guess they could be redpilled
Jordan Gonzalez
the best part of the movie is how it doesn't mock Hitler, but shows him as a strong, intelligent leader. There are a few parts in the film that were false, but overall it could be used as a low dosed red pill for normies who are against open borders/immigrating hordes
Isaac Roberts
The tv in my hotel room is this this... most powerful speech I have heard in a while. 10/10 movie

>as I drop some historical facts Like jews eating German babies or shapeshifting Polish commandos attacking Germany first?
Well it does show one thing, Hitler, while nutts and hateful, was like that because he was freakishly empathetic. It is sad really that he tried to help his people by killing innocent civilians and attacking other nations. Aside commies, that one he pulled off nice.
Daniel Clark
>In the film his character is intelligent, sympathetic and eager to find the merit in anyone even people he supposedly hates. Just like Hitler did historically >The ending tries to make sense of itself by having the protagonist try and stop Hitler only to be put in an Asylum and even then it feels obligatory. In short, the message is reduced to trivial as the film instead humanizes Hitler and far right politics Hitler and right wingers aren't humanized?
The left is fucking insane. They revealed their thoughts too openly. They legitimately want to dehumanize all who disagree with them.
Jeremiah Myers
*Edit: Hitler and right wingers aren't humans?
Ryan Evans
he should have invaded africa, removed dindu, and established the master race there, then reinvaded once they had the tech and manpower to overthrow the jew and conquer europe.
Asher Hughes
Mostly about Hitler wasn't the aggressor in the war, why he was turned to a villain due to the international bankers being deprived their profit ,wanting to make peace, only being interested in German sovereignty, etc.
Kevin Morris
I mean let us be real, half of all senseless xenophobes are utterly insane and human lower class garbage, but the other half, or even less, is just desperate and look to help their people, their fall to utter xenophobia is tho the cause of a lack of knowledge and narrow experiences.
The question raised by this movie would be: was Hitler a madman who wanted death and murder, or just a desperate man with nothing to lose, spoiled by the anti-Semitism and slavophobia into a path he could never depart from when he started to thread on it?
Gabriel Nelson
>Like jews eating German babies Nice strawman, but not far from the truth. Jews have written books on the tradition of ritual murder.
>Chinese or the Japanese... belong to ancient civilizations, and I admit freely that their history is superior to our own.
it's simply impossible to not come to this inclusion as an educated man. If only the modern chinese people could be capable of living up to their legacy...
Jack Rogers
I actually really enjoyed that movie. I highly recommend it to everyone here.
Noah Collins
>wasn't the aggressor in the war
Listen, bud, I do hate the peace established in WWI as anyone else, if anything, the Empire my forefathers fought for suddenly vanished and we were assigned to be ruled by our brutish eastern neighbours and arguable kinsmen. But, while the peace did pretty much force Germany into war, Hitler still can be seen as an aggressor. There is a difference between taking the German populated portions of Poland and CzSl, but he went up and beyond. Besides, sending your own countrymen to death camps wasn't great either
Tyler Fisher
The movie portrays Hitler as a reasonable man who is supported by the people. This goes contrary to the (((narration))) usually pushed by the media, that of Hitler being one-balled crazy retard on meth. The ending is ambivalent in my opinion it can be interpreted as a warning of new Hitler arising or as a sign that nowadays people have legit reasons to support and elect a new Hitler. The former is probably what was intended by the creators but it doesn't change the fact that the movie is surprisingly well-balanced overall. I say it's good movie for normalfags, it won't convince them to become right wing but it will make them question the (((narration))) of nazis being literal Satan. It's also quite entertaining.
Colton Reed
redpilled insofar as it doesn't present Hitler as a cartoonishly evil supervillain
Justin Lewis
>an ancient civilization who managed to keep it"s culture in tact >has leftovers of ancient ritual murder
Let's be honest there for a sec, ancient history is crazy at times. Wasn't there that transfetite Roman Emperor who read godly decrees from the entrails of freshly killed kids?
Not excusing ritual murder, but jews are ancient, so no wonder that records of that stuff still exists.
Logan Roberts
Hitler was a weeb confirmed

>Why do we call the whole world's attention to the fact that we have no past? It isn't enough that the Romans were erecting great buildings when our forefathers were still living in mud huts; now Himmler is starting to dig up these villages of mud huts and enthusing over every potsherd and stone axe he finds. All we prove by that is that we were still throwing stone hatchets and crouching around open fires when Greece and Rome had already reached the highest stage of culture. We really should do our best to keep quiet about this past. Instead Himmler makes a great fuss about it all. The present-day Romans must be having a laugh at these relegations. -Adolf Hitler, quoted from Albert Speer's Inside the Third Reich
This, Hitler was a maniac, was filled with hate, was a war criminal, but he wasn't a Warhammer 40k chaos worshipping avatar of death. In the end, he was just a man.
>have legit reasons to vote Hitler They dont actually. Hitler's election, communist revolutions etc show one thing: the masses are a bunch of braindead imbeciles who want to blame others for their mistakes. Democracy was invented in Greece as a privilege of the worthy, not a right for all.
The hungry worker will instantly believe you if you tell him that the jew, or the capitalist, are the reason for his suffering, and by their death that he will be free.
The lower classes also, due to lower intelligence, are far more primitively emotional. Fear and hate create good slaves.
I am not saying "if you kill your enemies they win", I am for sure not a pacifist, but definitely conservative on the issue of wasting ammunition where it is not needed.
Hitler's war against "the internationalist jews" didn't stop at the jews in the banks or companies, but it sent to death craftsmen, labourers, soldiers even, for being Jewish.
Joshua Campbell
So Himmler was basically: WE WUZ KONIGS AND SCHEISS
Jace Russell
So you're sort of touching on one of the huge problems I have with critical theory, especially as applies to film. Some people create art, and that's probably good for them. They express their humanity that way, perhaps, or it brings them closer to the divine, or they're adding to the beauty of all mankind. But then there are people who lack the talent to create, but still have the desire. Those people criticize. Because it's like, if you know what to put in a film and what to look for, why aren't you making one? If you want a subtle red pill, why don't you build it? Instead, with all the training of the post modernist institutions, you can only deconstruct what someone else has built.
Carter Nelson
>Hitler was a maniac, was filled with hate, was a war criminal, but he wasn't a Warhammer 40k chaos worshipping avatar of death. >In the end, he was just a man.
No, No, Maybe, Kek, How would he be anything else?
People like to call him insane because they don't want to think rational people can do what Hitler did. But he was very rational.
Landon Anderson
yes, Himmler was super autistic about muh ancestors the same way that Varg is. Speer writes about how he was also a total dope and was only Reichsfuhrer because of party seniority

Truth in jest Except for an in-group which is disproportionately respresented in all avenues of high society i.e. politics, finance, journalism, entertainment etc. Being born into and indoctrinated into that makes a big fucking difference.
Sebastian Robinson
I would hope you could recognize that yours is an ideological position with which reasonable people can disagree. Nation and Culture are products of ethnicity at least to some degree, as we see most self evidently with the failure of multiculturalism.
Oh, and people belong to groups because they have defining characteristics shared by the group. This is undeniably so. To what degree may be debatable. But to say that all Jews are Jewish seems to be a difficult position to argue against.
Bentley Sanchez
Ha! His rallies are his strong suit.
Luke Rodriguez
Ah bullshit. Spent most my life on that shitty dream of fascism, order and nonsense.
In the end of the day, fascism, as a child of socialism, follows the same idiotic concept: everyone is a fucking cog. I hate lower society, and degenerate culture as anyone else, but aside that, individual freedom is a core factor.
To die for a nation is neither dulcet nor decorum. To live tho for a civilization like the great Western one, is all the glory the world can give.
Thomas Hall
Shouting may not be a part of speeches and rally today, but what was done by Trump was speaking loud and with confidence. That right there gets people to get behind. For example the neoconservatives and the democrats were all about "sensitivity" and "calm" demeanors. That is why (((they))) lost the us election.
Michael Jenkins
Or rather a group where the weak have died off after over 2 millenia of persecution, a group whose hardship has forced them to help eachother and strive for the best.
Easy times breed weak men, but it seems that being murdered because a reeking peasant thinks you cause rhe plague does create a group of strong individuals.
Also, white people are globaly disproportionate in high place representation, given that Europoid whites are far less than 1 billion. It is just because of success.
Brody Thompson
Never the less, it does not mean that a pole can't be a better German than most Germans.
Further more, not all jews are Jewish. Given that we have black jews, blond jews, etc, there can't be said to be a proper Jewish ethnos. Given the number of irreligious jews, or jews converted to other faiths, not ever jew follows the Jewish religion either.
Besides, what is the crime in being Jewish?
Alexander Butler
Yeah, that's a good point. We have to many limp wristed faggy nu-males, and too few men who will stand up for what they believe.
Joseph Jones
only like 6 percent of Americans have blue eyes now. True Europeans are becoming increasingly rare

His antics are childish, he goes to ad hominem super quick, all in all, he won because you guys allow imbeciles to vote. But don't worry, imbeciles include the welfare leeches that would have voted for Hillary or that irrelevant other Democrat.
Let us face it, your elections get worse and worse. None of your candidates were really presidential, maybe Kasić, but no where near a Ronald or JFK or Teddy.
Angel Diaz
Right, like I said, found the (((shill))). Thanks for that. Jews have jewed their way through 2 millennia by turning societies against themselves over and over again. Through manipulation, bribery, thievery, the list goes on. Oh and consistent in-breeding. Believing themselves to be the chosen people is the ultimate sign of their evil nature.
Wyatt Turner
I don't know that's so. I suppose it depends on what exactly it means to be German. But I would say that a Polack could never stop being a Polack. I could never become Japanese.
As for Jews, they're a tough example because they purposely obfuscate their notions of ethnicity, nation, and religion. There is, for example, a jewish ethnostate that has it written into its laws to preserve its jewish character. Is that religious? Or national? Or cultural? Or ethnic?
As for jewish crimes, well, remember where you are. The crimes of the jew are many, starting world war 2 and creating the Nazis, just for starters.
Jose Brown
>true Europeans >blue eyes You do know that protoeuropean (ie first European) genetic hotspot areas are usually darker eyed?
In the end: total European descent = European. You can be dark eyed and dark haired, or blonde and blue.
Colton Morgan
That's a good point
Samuel Cook
>He won because you guys allow imbeciles to vote.
Every democracy has this problem so i don't see where are you coming from.
Michael Roberts
>Those of you who have seen it, do you think this could be used as a low dosed red pill to get normies started?
Absolutely. There's some childish stuff in the movie, like Hitler googling "world domination," but in general the portrayal of Hitler is very flattering. He's charismatic, brave, virile, and sort of a larger than life figure. That is a MUCH more honest depiction than you will find in Inglorious Bastards or even the semi-historical Downfall, in both of which Hitler is depicted as an unhinged and frustrated maniac. In Downfall you could argue that he was perhaps becoming unhinged as he saw Germany being destroyed, but the Inglorious Bastards depiction is just ridiculous. Watch the speeches - the man was a hero and born leader.
Leo Ward
>peasant thinks you cause rhe plague
the question is why do all people everywhere think the same things about the revolting jews

You would most likely sperg out in disbelief if everyone told you that the commies are far away only to have them sling artillery shells 30 kilometers from your crib.

onglorious kiketurds is just another attempt to fuel the myth of the tough jew. begging the question of why all these mythical tough jews never did such a thing in real life.

I don't think this film is about how right wing could result in a new hitler, but how most people especcially leftist/normies/bluepilled actually wants a new hitler without realising it

They could have been a scapegoat but the fact that 300+ empires, kingdoms, states and whatnot did the same tells the whole picture. >Hitler was a maniac, was filled with hate, was a war criminal Hitler was a sensible person in a corrupt world. He had nothing but love for all Germanic people, and wanted them to succeed whatever the cost. Also "war criminal"? Perhaps the allies could be called war criminals because they bombed, starved, and gassed Axis civilians. Victors can commit no crime.

Civilization is fascism: The civilized are those that follow rules and act as they are supposed to, and civilization is a rule book and a hierarchy. A nation is your extended family: your closest genetic peers who raised and provided for you with the land they fought for and the structures they built, and the children that will inherit what you secure and build for them.
You would die to defend rules, but you would not die for your family? I find that disgusting.
Rulebook are tools for a people's advancement, not the other way around.

inglorious basterds is a stealth redpill in which the only characters to show any kind of bravery, humility, reason, or virtue is a defiant German signals company officer, and a regretful German marksman. During the climax in the theater the movie mocks its own audience by presenting them with an in-movie audience of "monsters" cackling in delight as they watch a film depicting poor american soldiers getting shot and killed, and then it is the very next sequence that has the real audience obliviously cackling just the same when the theater full of those people get brutally killed by fire, asphyxiation and bullet.
Ethan Baker

You're right, criticism of that nature is kind of parasitic in nature, parasitic upon the courage of those who actually do act and create in the world. Ideally would you not say there is room for both and value in criticism, a more symbiotic balance struck? The critical human mind after all is at the root of the many scholars and inventors and the like who broke social convention and redirected the course of human history, through technology or even through pure philosophical insight.
Aiden Ortiz
Civilization doesn't have to equal tyranny, if we can follow the tenets of our Christian heritage and hold the human individual sacrosanct and honored above organized religion and the state. This was one of the goals of the US Constitution.
"Civilization is fascism" - I see what you mean in a way, like how the extremes of the regressive left are rebelling against order and decency itself, in the guise of opposing some fascistic mindset. But I think you oversimplify. We in the modern West have inherited the tools to maintain order and avoid tyranny at the same time.
Michael Russell
