That honestly is kinda true. Just look at the movie Master of Disguise, Dana Carvey was terrible with it just as he's been terrible with most movies. In Wayne's World he was essentially a side character. Myers is at least good about comedic timing for in a movie, which isn't to say Dana Carvey can't be funny, he's just not great at movies.
