Hello Comrades. This general is for the discussion of Marxism-Leninism, the ideology of revolutionary socialism and communism.
Communism is the next stage of humanity following the capitalist stage.
What exactly is communism according to Marxist-Leninists:

I find it strange that a person could be motivated to bring about communism after reading Marx because he thinks communism simply will happen, but doesn't say that it should, that communism is more just than capitalism, and so on. so why should I advocate for communism?

what? did I say something obviously false? I was under the impression that according to the whole historical materialism thing, the economic conditions are the conditions which give the form to the state, our various everyday attitudes like those of morality and religion, and everything else, and just like the change from feudalism into capitalism which was more or less inevitable, it is also more or less inevitable that capitalism will be succeeded by communism following a period of dictatorship by the proletariat. none of this is to say that communism is more just; the idea of justice is something conditioned by the economic conditions we find ourselves in, and so if marx were to say that communism is more just than capitalism, he would be using, by his own view, a notion of justice which only works under capitalism. so if he cannot say that communism is more just than capitalism, which would seem to be the case on his own view, then my question stands - why be motivated to bring it about?
