This is what Sergey Brin said back in 2010 about censorship in China:
“We have made a statement of intent that we intend to stop censoring, and if we can do that within the confines of Chinese law and policy, we’d love to continue Google.cn and all of our operations there. And if we cannot, then we’ll do as much as we can, but we don’t want to run a service that’s politically censored. We’re not talking about porn and gambling, things like that, but really the political stuff.”
>but we don’t want to run a service that’s politically censored
Remembering his youth and his family's reasons for leaving the Soviet Union, he "agonized over Google’s decision to appease the communist government of China by allowing it to censor search engine results," but decided that the Chinese would still be better off than without having Google available.

Political censorship is now becoming a reality in the U.S. I believe that most of the social justice warrior bullshit stuff that we see today coming out of this company is because of Sundar Pichai, their latest diversity king CEO.
Typical bleeding heart Liberal with soppy and totally clueless talking points such as “After the Paris attacks and hate this week, I can only imagine the fear Muslims feel that they will be persecuted for the actions of others”. What about the victims and their families, any thoughts or prayers for them?
The war against Google can’t be fought with technology. No Ad Blocker, browser or lame kiddie script will bring them down. This fight is ideological.
You won’t meme Google out of business. Instead, make the original founders accountable for their true beliefs.
Take the fight where it matters. We need to remind Sergey why he created that company in the first place.
Sundar Pichai is also a good target to voice your discontent.
