Happening??? Object/Radiation

WESTERLY, R.I. (AP) — Rhode Island beachgoers are puzzled and concerned about a mysterious object lodged about 10 feet underwater just off Westerly’s East Beach.

The circular object has stainless steel legs and is capped with concrete. It appears to be rooted in place.

The Westerly Sun reported Friday the object was first seen last summer but could not be found on follow-up attempts. Intrigue regarding the mysterious object grew when several divers were hospitalized with acute radiation sickness.

East Beach Association President Peter Brockmann says he’s been asking experts about the object’s origin. He says the best tip he received was from University of Rhode Island oceanographers, who said it could be a robotic nuclear mine. Such mines are speculated to be either remotely triggered by an individual or government, or perhaps the nuclear payload can be controlled and delivered via preprogrammed time delay.

Brockmann says they will try to uproot the object next week.

Pics???

It's probably a bit of buried nuclear waste that gpt forgotten.

I hope the people digging up are really careful.

>nuclear crab mines

Pretty good idea, desu.

Just a Nuclear landmine the Russians put there in the cold war to cause tidal waves

Okay wtf is going on?

bump, what this? Any anons close by?

Boston. I don't need Cold War doomsday weapons fucking up my summer. Although they might clean up Carson Beach.

Mostly likely a scientific device. Scientists toss shit like this a few metres off shore to measure either wave, nutrient, or sediment movement with the tides.

>Although they might clean up Carson Beach.
I'm picturing a bunch of guys on a fishing boat trying to hoist this up out of there. Funny they don't look for answers first but interesting to say the least.

Do they normally give off radiation?

giving off radiation is a pretty vague statement. Its actually meaningless unless they say what kind and how much.

>10 feet off the coast underwater
>Best picture they have is a potato cam shot taken at 45 mph

Gay

Jews busted blocks all over Dorchester and put up projects. Not many of these guys anymore. From the 70's.

>The best tip came from University of Rhode Island oceanography professors, who told Brockmann they believe the object could be a seafloor mount for an acoustic Doppler current profiler, a device used by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to monitor currents and sediment flow during dredging projects. Brockmann believes a significant portion of the device is now buried and not visible.

Be gone kike!

>nuclear device
>being studied for 6 weeks

Implying the government wouldn't fucking marshal law the entire community if that were true.
