BUMP YOU FAGGOTS, GET IN HERE NOW

It searches for youtube videos on it's search page, it does the same for social networks, news and images.

Results are actually good. This is better than google, even disconsidering their fuckery .

I know iridium has qwant by default

I depend on certain addons that may not work on that browser , can you use no-script ,Ublock Origin and Videodownloadhealper ?

This is fucking awesome!
This is MUCH better than google, for real.

I'm using Brave as a browser, Qwant is just a search engine.

Brave has no-script written inside it already, and you can block anytime you want.

Now I'm only attached to google, because of the email service, and the online services like google doc and google drive. How can I get rid of this shit?

I'll give it a try tomorrow , I hope it doesn't have the same problem that Firefox does where it freezes if you try to have 3 windows with 90 tabs each open at the same time , for some reason Chrome can handle that

if Qwant had a repeat button on their video section, it would be absolutely supreme.

For email use protonmail.

For google doc alternative, learn latex/beamer + git.

Brave did crashed some 2 or 3 times since I started using it. Now it's working great, look how many tabs I'm using now.

Thanks. I am using it now, my huemonkey friend

Also, if you install Brave, make Qwant your default search engine. You WON'T miss Google, I guarantee you that.

Spread the word, bro

Thanks for the recommendation OP.

Wtf I'm a qwanter now. Gotta qwant stuff.

cock.li for e-mail

remember to be cool to huezillians

I might consider using protonmail, what makes it better than gmail? Because right now, with Brave + Qwant I'm feeling that I'm using superior products to what Google offered me by (((free))).

Now THIS is shilling.

duckduckgo is also good

duckduckgo does the same thing...

you have more control over the layout, colors, fonts with ddg

op is a shilling faggot

Mail.com is better than gmail.com, they don't have any political affiliation

you can get a @mail.com, @email.com, or @usa.com email address and many others... they also have a built in cloud/drive within the email system

>shilling

Have you forgot the fucking manifesto of James Damore?

You mongoloids

The Qwant audio session didn't worked for fashwave artists, but it worked well for known artists

The German ISP behind Mail.com also owns GMX.

Forget that, when you hit an known artist in audio, you can actually hit repeat, but I guess it only repeats a full album, not the same song 1x

It's still on beta

Damn, you can make boards with FOLLOWERS in qwant.

Does DDG have that?

bump

it's encrypted

looks great, google is boring

google is done, only kek will prevail

It's fucking awesome, we should do some use of their boards

I will give it a look, thanks!

...

lmao

thanks for info about qwant. not so sure about brave, i am still stuck on mozilla firecuck

It also failed the test with american inventors.
What does it mean? They also use a part of bing results to feed their own.

Therefore, every ad that Qwant displays fully adheres to the values we defend and our quality standards.
When you use Qwant, no personal information whatsoever is neither captured or transmitted to advertisers.
In details:
– No third party cookies

It's better than firecuck, give it a try bro

there's some serious fucking shilling going on in this thread

It's Bangz algorithm

Shut the fuck up, you aussie faggot

I'm trying to get off gmail
Any email suggestions?

they're owned by 1&1 Mail & Media Inc.
which is owned by United Internet

Hmm..not sure if it's safe anymore. :/

I'm considering this

For real though, this is pretty good. Nice find huefriend.

Thank you
Ill stick to gmail for normie tier shit and proton mail for everything else

Spread the word, even the normies must hear about this to abandon the google faggots

I didn't test the proton mail to see how is their interface yet.

One more question huebro
What's a good smartphone?
I currently have an iPhone and need a new one but I don't want an android because android is pretty much google galore

whats wrong with 1 & 1? qrd?

Is Yahoo Nazi friendly?

Sorry austrian bro, I don't have a smartphone, I lost mine while drinking 2 years ago, and since then, I didn't bother buying one.

You should check Sup Forums!

What the fuck is wrong with search services

I'm running a set of boxes that host Searx, an encrypted email server, an encrypted P2P file share, an anonymous (end-to-end encrypted) IM system, A good ol' IRC server, and a few other tools.
If I don't build it from source, I don't trust it these days.
Been working in IT and software development long enough, I can pretty much hook anything up.
As for browsers, I just use Firefox.
They already have all my information, so I'm just working on phasing out what new information they can gather.

Can you self-host Qwant?

I wish I had your knowhow, I'm starting to get into privacy these days, and I don't feel even a little intellectually and technically prepared to get it.

I don't know, bro, you will have to look it up!

Tutanota because it is encrypted and you can lock the mail with a passcode if you want.

Best thing to do is dive into it balls first, and tinker until you either hate it, or become so entrenched in it you have no other hobbies.
It's what I do at work and in my free time.

I want to go to CS college. I didn't even started to code yet. Any tips for me?

Follow-up, doesn't look like you can self-host.
Therefore, I recommend Searx instead. It's not as fancy, but in my book, it's a superior product for functionality, and customizability.

Well I'm a college dropout, so I'm not a very good speaker on the topic.
Just figure out what you like (by experimenting), and get real good at it.
Not everyone who gets big into IT is a programmer. There's also sysadmins (part of what I do), database admins, tech support, network admins. To me, they're not as fun, but each play a vital role in the success of a technologically-minded business.
You could even do hardware, like roboticists or electrical engineers.

Thank you!

Get a phone that has support for LineageOS. It's Android but RAW Android and you can choose to not have any Google apps installed and get any apps you need downloaded online as apk instead of playstore. I use a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and it's the best phone I have ever used though I never got LineageOS to work on it unfortunately. Ordered through AliExpress, cost me like 120$.

>be Google in the early days

>fucking perfect

>Don't Be Truthful™
Really makes you want to adopt nihilism.

Find a tutorial on the Internet and start coding. If you don't like it, don't bother.
Also, don't trust self-taught skills. Once you get an actual job as a programmer it's completely different than writing your own ~1k line projects.

Look into design patterns, good practices and learn how to use proper tool for a task (don't code a web app in C++ or don't try to write an OS in Python).

Anyone using an alternative browser with support for Dashlane?

searx is nice, but it is SO SLOW.

Share it

thank you, based polandbro

Eh, I run it on a 1gb EC2 instance, and it seems to work great.
Where are you using it from? Are you hosting it yourself?

For anyone who dislikes Brave for whatever reason, Iridium is looking pretty damned good so far as well!

yeah sound like cunt, what's not to like

NO

Nice cia honey trap goy

The superior combo

This is sad.
DDG is just Google with a middleman.
Vivaldi is just Chromium.

the superior version, if you count it out hosting your services, of course, but it's the best normie combo yet

>Google with a middleman
That's kinda the point. You may still participate in the botnet but it's basically using a VPN for free.

...

>DDG is just Google with a middleman
It's really not, and with bangs it can do a lot (including just be a google middleman)
>Vivaldi is just Chromium
Most browsers are either based off of chromium or firefox. Doesn't say much.

I want to get rid of GMail and stuff. I have my own email address which i barely use (but want to use it now). Just need a good mail client. Is windows 10 Mail good?

Found that pic on an earlier tread.
I will stick with qwant, but the patrician way is to host your stuff.

bump

I don't know kraut-chan. Qwant it

I tried brave for a week. At first it seemed good, but then not so much. Want to add a bookmark? Browser freezes for 10 seconds. Want to choose the folder where you put the bookmark? Browser freezes for 10s. The bookmark manager does that too. Then there were quite many bugs and some annoying features, some rather minor but some really bugged me. There were also some issues (which probably could be fixed by tweaking preferences?) that really made me look for another browser like syncthing page didn't work in brave (it couldn't open the settings etc.).

Now trying pale moon for the 2nd day and like it very much. I never liked firefox but pale moon is good. I'll maybe try brave again some time to see if it works better.

Brave never froze here, for real.

looks good. im with it. make CompUSA real again.

I just wish they had a repeat button on video, literally the only thing I'm missing

(((Duckduckgo)))

Yeah, for whatever reason somethings works well in one computer and not in another. The problems I had could probably be solved by some tweaks but it is easier for me to just try another browser.

It crashed like 3 times when I started using it, mostly when I opened 10 tabs or more, but now it just works normally.

I used it for a week and it never crashed, and it was running pretty much 24/7.. but it froze and had other bugs. What os do you have btw? I'm on linux mint.

bumpAdnauseam click on almost every ad causing:

1. inflated cost for the advertisers.
2. disruption in the adsense tracking database
3. ultimately, those costs became too high without creating any sales, so the advertiser retires the ad from google.

It was the ONLY ONE that wasn't so blatantly showing black people.

HOLY SHIT 70% OFF ON PEPES!
