How do we reform the "Alt-Right," which is honestly a shitty name, into something more befitting a proper political force? The Tea Party, for example, acted similarly to the modern A-R, but with an actual name, flying under a common banner (that wasn't a swastika, which triggers hatred response in normies) and fairly clear political views.
As we stand now, people just see us as "Internet nazis" who just want to gas brown people because that's what CNN told them. Richard Spencer (whether you like him or not is irrelevant) is the new Hitler, and anyone who attends a protest is a brownshirt 2.0.
Reform, or more accurately, better organization, is necessary.
Be it something simple like the Nationalist Party, or a bit more verbose like the National Union Party, summons a much more neutral or even patriotic response in the masses, without the media connotations attached.

Shilll detected.
This rally topped Berkeley and Portland.
We got everything right: the uniforms, torches, chants.
This whole country is ON EDGE because of us. We might cause a fucking civil war.
And we're just getting started.
Charlottesville, we're going back in September to make this one EVEN BIGGER.
Get ready!
Tyler Green
The rally went well. We showed that we do have numbers, but the problem is the media had a field day with the event. Attaching a better name and picture helps attract normies and those already sympathetic, going full 14/88 straight away just triggers a fight or flight response in nigh everyone outside of Sup Forums.

we are anonymous, whether you like it or not, and assignign labels to us will always be unfitting. Besides, we function best as an anonymous band of anformation sharers, not larping autists. The "Alt-right" was really termed the Alt- Media not that long ago.
The Gas Lighting propagandists had to change the name Alt-Media to Alt-Right to distract the masses from listening to alternative forms of media while simultaneously associating the now Alt-Right to extremist groups via the ADL & Southern Poverty Law Center.

Do we need a name at all? Anonymous got plenty of shit done under "Anonymous," and that's a pretty fuckin' gay name. >got, past tense, because Anonymous died long, long ago "National Socialism" is pretty unwieldy, too. Sorry, nazibros. Even if we did coin a new name, we wouldn't scream it from the rooftops, and it sure as fuck wouldn't come from 4/pol/.
Christian Ortiz
Even just reorganizing and referring to the current Alt Right as "Nationalists" would be a far better groundwork, we can't for example, found a political party, as the "Alt Right" simply because it's unwieldy and already sounds pretty gay.

How about Anti-Antifa/Anti-Left
Jonathan Rodriguez
If you have to make it more normie-friendly, you need better names. Nationalism is a bad word in the US, because there is just one word step to National-Socialism, and then you are back to being called Nazi. It has to be something weaker, like: "Our Survival" or something like that, something that talks clearly about principles.
David James
calling them "stormweenies" and "stormniggers" doesn't defeat an argument backed up with evidence, refute their points instead of calling them out like they did something wrong by sharing facts Anti-Communist would get far more approval than Anti-Left, which states you are against half the country. Nationalism isn't an entirely poisoned well, and not everyone immediately draws a line between Nationalism and NatSoc, as Trump was openly nationalistic. I'm thinking along the lines of political parties, even, although that's far out of reach, naming yourself as did the Tea Party seems more reputable than running with something that could be a gang name. "Our Survival" sounds more like a group mantra than a group name, though, although it clearly describes the primary group motivator.
Andrew Scott
How much love did you receive as the tea party, idiots... nobody needs swastikas but you've been cowed again. You will never win anything if you keep backing down at criticism aimed at things you're not responsible for (the car of peace). The left is pushing at you again and you're not pushing back. You should--people lose thei confidence and they need it if you want to keep your country white (and by white I mean safe ffs!!!!!!!!!)

The thing is- the Tea Party was never automatically seen as "that one Neo-Nazi group," it was always "those crazy Republicans with guns." I called my parents after Charlottesville and asked what they thought and they immediately both identified the right as the Nazis, simply because Facebook and whatever news they caught said so. The Gadsden has no negative connotations outside of the Tea Party itself and is generally seen as patriotic nowadays. The swastika, as I mentioned before, is the exact opposite, and seen as anti-American, anti-freedom, pro-gassing of minorities because Americans are retarded lemmings. Adopting our own identity frees us of the negative views attached to the swastika and confederacy, and forces the media to demonize a new group instead of just hitchhiking off of the bluepilling the school system did for them. Although acting as independents works in theory, it just makes it that much easier for CIA niggers to infiltrate and give the media some nice shots of people wearing their cool Wehrmacht costume and sets us back to square one. advertising that is bad press, people are a lot less convinced by pictures of online posts then they are by pictures of fat guys waving around his framed picture of Hitler and throwing up Roman salutes.
Benjamin Miller
Here is the trick to pull: accuse every other group of being nationalist. If the word is poisoned, let it poison them all. E.g. "I oppose Black nationalists", "I oppose Mexican nationalists", "I oppose White coastal liberal nationalism that is racist against Whites from the interior", "I oppose Jewish ethno-nationalism". I you get smeared, you smear back.
Luke Harris
I got called a shill by a gang the other night for saying how Jews pretend to be white to push anti white propaganda
Anthony Barnes
The problem there is opposing Black nationalists or Mexican nationalists= automatically racist. Calling out Israel only gets you support from your own ingroup and somewhat from Antifa, somehow. I'm just saying a rebrand to something as simple as the "Nationalist Party" allows name flexibility to support openly fascist/protectionist policy while still plausibly acting in your namesake, while providing significantly more legitimacy than a disconnected name like the "Alt-Right." Normal people are far more likely to approach a group that sounds like a legitimate political party with an open mind, as long as we maintain even just a facade of Pax Americana era patriotism, and even boomers can support someone whose party mantra is the preservation of America.
Jose Perez
Not a singularityfag, but I can see something like this happening
Jace Sullivan
All true but the swastika (as I vaguely implied) ALSO has nothing to do with you--same as the car that rammed the crowd. Nothing to do with you and your behavior should reflect that. Ideally, antifa should be placed in the same category as the neonazis but that would require the kind of positive (in this case) propaganda and finagling that I'm not sure the right is capable of... You are just too good for your own sake sometimes. Of course btfo the neonazis. They only belong on here.
Joshua Gray
The goal is to teach most Whites that other groups are acting in their nationalist self-interest and that it is hypocrisy to prevent Whites from doing the same. And imply that there are dark motives behind preventing Whites from doing it.
Isaiah Anderson
Siema. This here guy may have a point.

BTW, pushing White awareness developed very well as long as it was happening on the web and didn't go beyond Twitter trolling, because despite of what the snowflakes claim, to most people words are harmless (words directed at other people). The alt-right runs into problems now because it moved to "street action". That's counterproductive. Physical actions don't bring in more followers. Only verbal recruitment does. Physical actions push recruitment back.
Aiden Hernandez

–Sun Tzu
If you want to win what's coming, you shouldn't put a name to what you do. Just do what's right. That's the ultimate defense against Alinsky tactics.
Caleb Stewart
Physical actions are good at raising awareness as long as the media doesn't spin it, which isn't possible for us. That being said, stuff like the Vice interview where we had legitimate members of the group pulling fourteen guns out his ass does little to help. However, action and violence like we had going pre-election with random Trump supporters bloodied and women egged fostered support because we were the victims. Issue is now, we can't really be seen as victims because muh white males and the fact we are bigger than the libshits. Positive media coverage and a martyr like Heyes would turn everything around, but isn't possible.
David Nguyen

Yes, the media can spin violent events the way it wants. Just by not showing the violence from the left violent groups or portraying it as justifiable punishment against the "bad villains".
People will say that Rule 1 "who does violence is bad" but also Rule 2 "violence against bad people is good". So once you are put in the box of the bad people, you can't well defend yourself in public opinion and you can't claim to use Rule 1. The problem for the Right will be the normalization of violence against the Right.
