Features simplified but heavy chiaroscuro use throughout and tone dappled to give texture to the light bouncing off objects. You should look at art by Nick brown. He is a central California artist who paints in a classical style with oil paints. I don't know his political views, he paints beautiful landscapes though.
All his paintings are of comfy cottages, churches, gardens, and small town main streets, far away from any degeneracy.
