You're right its the individuals fault for giving the government authority over the free market and banking system by allowing them to manipulate it for its own gain in exchange for welfare gibs and bright and shiny lies to the masses. I was plesantly suprised by the fidelity of the movie in regards to the actual content of the book. I would recommend this movie to anyone who can't get the book, rare as that may be, or doesn't want to read it. I find myself in a similar disposition to the one you've displayed here. That's why we must promote freedom of speech and free expression. So long as we're allowed those fundamental rights we'll be able to maintain some semblence of control. Right now we must target the media, though. They're responsible for the majority of problems today. They furnish propaganda for the elites. Trump and Clinton are just people, the media is the enemy here.

I'm not saying that people don't fear personal responsibility and the two aren't mutually exclusive like you implied but liberty does certainly include the freedom from restriction on the free market.
Once again, the individuals gave the government the authority that allowed it to become corrupt. The government wouldn't have that authority otherwise.

I really liked the film adaptation of 1984. Most seem to think it's pretty shit I but I reckon it nailed the vibe. Old mate main actor did a great fuckin job too.
