Do you know what two-minutes-hate is?

Pic related, it's me.

Whether it's Muslims or Neo-Nazis, you're being misdirected away from the oligarchy you live in. Taking out antifa isn't going to make your life better. Punching neo-Nazis isn't going to make your life better.

Wresting control of the country back from the rich (Trump) and the powerful (Clinton) would make your life better for you and your children.

If you haven't read 1984, go do that. Or watch the one released in 1984 if you're illiterate.

Junior Anti-sex league= Yes means Yes Forever war with Eurasia= Global war on terror. Big brother= patriot act. Newspeak= Political correctness.

>muh rich and powerful
What you should say is the state itself, theres nothing inherently wrong with being rich unless you're a faggot that is insecure about his ability to compete in the free market and in turn need to project his failures onto the successful.

America had always been at war with Russia.

The problem with our rich (top 0.1%) is they tend to purchase our government with it.

Have you even read 1984?

i don't like your haughty tone as if to imply nobody could possibly have read a 200 page novel

Then it's the governments fault not the rich. The government picks winners and losers currently through subsidies and corruption like you stated. Unleash the free market and stop using the state to prop up big business. Using the "rich" as a scapegoat only highlights the symptom and not the problem.

The universe doesn't give a shit about your feelings. That's kinda the whole point...

Besides lots of people have never heard of it because we keep making new people.

My tone is tired cynicism, for the record.

Just play half life 2 if you are too lazy to read the book. Gordon Freeman is Edward Snowden is Winston Smith (((illuminati confirmed))) It's true, the Bogandoffs told me

No, it's our fault for letting control of our government be wrested away from us.

The free market is a myth.

It's not a scapegoat. You think people with nine orders of magnitude more power than 99% of the country can't control it?

Also, you didn't answer my question.

>it's our fault for letting control of our government be wrested away from us.
You're right its the individuals fault for giving the government authority over the free market and banking system by allowing them to manipulate it for its own gain in exchange for welfare gibs and bright and shiny lies to the masses. Remove big governments interference in the free market and stop choking competition to death in the cradle and you won't have to worry about rich oligarchy buying the government to prop up their businesses with too big to fail models.
>free market its a myth
hi /leftypol/
You're friend George Orwell gave lists of socialists like you to the government to be discredited because you worship the state that enables a society like 1984 to come to fruition.

I was plesantly suprised by the fidelity of the movie in regards to the actual content of the book. I would recommend this movie to anyone who can't get the book, rare as that may be, or doesn't want to read it. I find myself in a similar disposition to the one you've displayed here. That's why we must promote freedom of speech and free expression. So long as we're allowed those fundamental rights we'll be able to maintain some semblence of control. Right now we must target the media, though. They're responsible for the majority of problems today. They furnish propaganda for the elites. Trump and Clinton are just people, the media is the enemy here.

>hi /leftypol/

'Thinking' in false dichotomies is stupid. Like six times dumber than astrology grade stupid.

Stop being a useful idiot. You're never going to be rich.

Have you even read the book?

>You're never going to be rich.
You're right, because people like you keep giving the government more power to destroy the free market because you're afraid of liberty.

>afraid of liberty
they're afraid of personal responsibility, there's a difference

They did release it in 1984. That's one hell of a homage to the book, and its ideas.

They elites _own_ the media. Of course it's on their side. Something like 90% of all mainstream media is owned by six companies.

Six.

That's what oligarchy looks like. The TV and radio are never going to tell you you live in a dystopia. People have to figure it out for themselves.

No, because you're powerless and deluded.

Liberty includes being free from restrictions to the free market by authority, not just speech. So yes people fear liberty when they fear government programs being taken away and restrictions lifted on businesses and individuals.

Not an argument.

I don't disagree. We do have the ability to separate the media from the elites by putting them under boycott. We saw this during GG and it proved to be quite effective.

People love liberty, the hate responsiblity. If a glaring feat of cognitive dissonance one can hold true that responsibility and liberty are not related. I'm not saying that it's /just/ speech that's being discussed when liberty is mentioned. We're talking past each other.

So you agree government is a problem, now look behind that curtain to who controls it.

You're so close...

...

>Punching neo-Nazis isn't going to make your life better.

that's where you're wrong, as usual, schizo

is it jews?

I'm not saying that people don't fear personal responsibility and the two aren't mutually exclusive like you implied but liberty does certainly include the freedom from restriction on the free market.

Once again, the individuals gave the government the authority that allowed it to become corrupt. The government wouldn't have that authority otherwise.

I'm not saying it doesn't. You're implying that people who fear responsiblity cannot love liberty, I disagree with that assessment.

I really liked the film adaptation of 1984. Most seem to think it's pretty shit I but I reckon it nailed the vibe. Old mate main actor did a great fuckin job too.

Do you even know what oligarchy means?

That's not a solution, it's just throwing blame around. It's up to us to take it back.

You must be new here

John Hurt played Chancellor Sutler in V for Vendetta.

That fun fact made me respect the man and whoever cast him so much more.

>V for Vendetta
fuck I forgot all about that, never saw it. Worthwhile then?

It's good as a movie but the comic is much better.

end the fed

Absolutely. It's fun even if the politics don't grab you. Doubly so if you're into dystopian stuff.

That would certainly help, but the fed isn't going to end itself.

It starts with an audit.

Never going to happen unless we make it happen.

>implying we don't hate (((them))) at the top the most
How new are you?
