Alt Right means conservative/right wing politics, but with a rejection of the left/right paradigm of American politics as it is right now, and a repudiation of the Republican Party for being willfully ineffective.
The Alt Right is not on the side of either the Democrats or the Republicans. It is not "more extreme" or "more conservative" than the Republicans. It should not be described as far right.
There is no Alt Left as the leftist maniacs doing the violence are on the same team as the Democrats.
