The regulations are so insane and the climate so unstable that no one wants to risk investing in Canada. It's just not worth it anymore.
Thanks Justin.
>On Tuesday, Petronas, Malaysia’s state-run oil company, announced it was abandoning its $36-billion liquid natural gas project in British Columbia, eliminating thousands of potential jobs. It јoins other maјor global energy investors, such as ConocoPhillips and Royal Dutch Shell, that have recently scaled back or sold off their Canadian operations.
>The same day, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce sent a letter to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, detailing what it describes as the rising cost of doing business in this country. The chamber listed low labour productivity growth, new environmental rules, higher electricity prices and a regulatory system it says the World Bank ranked as fourth best in the world a decade ago, but now has in the 22nd spot.
Good. Let's see what happens with all the mudslimes they've been importing once the government can no longer afford to maintain the luxurious lifestyle they have gotten accustomed too.

when is the vancouver happening happening ?

We need a political party to come in and reduce government, taxes, and regulation or else we're going to begin hitting record unemployment. I'm in school as a tradey and can't find a job or training because of the white male ban companies in town have

In an interview on BNN, the billionaire oil man said its unconscionable that regional players can disrupt or even stop the development of projects that have been greenlit by Parliament Hill.
>“Can you imagine a country, one country, that a part of it won’t let you build a pipeline across their land in order to create wealth for the entire country?” he said. “Big wealth, and big opportunities for the whole country, but you’re not supported [in doing] that.”

It's quebec who disapproves of the pipeline because they're idiots. NB in particular could really use it and are all for it.
The stupidest thing is that oil is still going by train from Ontario to the east coast. I guess they forgot Lac Megantic
Zachary Anderson
It has nothing to do with regulations. Shale oil needs to stabilize above $60 a barrel to be profitable. It has been around $45-50 this year. The main difference is the cost to 'wash' the sand out of the oil. That extra process affects margins in tight markets like this.

The difference between Canada and Venezuela is that the latter has an equatorial climate and fruit grows there year-round. If Canada goes down the tubes huge numbers of people are going to die in our winters. Especially when they start banning woodstoves (this is already happening in Montreal and Halifax)

i wish this too and America's NAFTA rep made it a point to bring up the possibility of Canada expanding its duty free allowances for crossborder/internet shoppers. but it probably won't happen. it's kept artificially low purposely as a protectionist measure for Canadian businesses. Canada is one those idiotic places where legislating nepotism/protectionism and the resulting high prices and mediocrity is seen as a good thing. the irony is, it already costs way more to collect duties than the government actually takes in.

This is literally the cost of Trudeau and voting Liberal or NDP. The fact it's happening so quickly makes me hopeful he'll be a one termer. Justin rides high on a Cult of Personality, but unlike other leaders who've done the same, he can't control the information that makes that up. He can't stop people from exposing him, so it won't last.

You realize the TPP trade off was refugees for deals, right?
This is nothing other than Malaysia renigging on its deal because they know once Canada realizes they're a nationalist center that wouldn't do the same for their people in the case of an emergency, a generally one-sided deal.

The difference is about 40% of the seats in Ontario still go conservative in provincial and federal elections. They have conservative areas that get drowned out by shitskins in Toronto.
Nova Scotia and the rest of the maritimes is 90+% white but just give all their seats to the Liberals every single time.

HOW TO FIX CANADA: >VOTE Libertarian Party Backup plan: >VOTE Conservative
The Libertarian party can fix all of these issues our beautiful country is having and provide us with less taxes. Read their platform. However since they're a smaller party, at least conservatives will cut spending the liberals are doing. Either way, Justin needs to get BTFO

>Fuck the homeless amiright? Actually for the most part, yeah fuck hobos. If you end up on the streets it's 90% directly as a result of some shit you did, usually drug and alcohol abuse.
Think about it. If you lost everything suddenly, you wouldn't become homeless. You'd have parents, grandparents, siblings, cousins, friends etc who would take you in till you can get back on your feet. To be homeless you need to have not only fucked up in an epic way, but also burnt all of your personal relationships beyond repair. So yeah, for the most part, fuck the homeless. Especially in the Northwest. For them it's just a lifestyle.
