I got four of them thrown out of my college and one of them jailed for five and a half years when I joined them for a while and filmed them doing stupid shit at protests after they'd taken their masks off and on coaches and minibuses home from demos. The best one I got was the branch leader who after punching a cop in the face and breaking his nose stole his helmet only to boast about it and drink beer out of it on the coach home I filmed it for several minutes and the footage was used to successfully convict him after I anonymously e-mailed it to the police force where the demo was. Another one also involved in SHARP also got in shit and got a two year suspended sentence for violent disorder as well as being kicked off his teacher training course for gaining a criminal record.
The whole branch fell apart after they got dealt with and I jumped off the bandwagon shortly after with no-one ever knowing who was responsible. It works, you just have to take a few months out to shut them down and be careful at every move with what you do to avoid blowing your identity.

The first I disagree on. You don't blanket target everyone, you find the leaders and more charismatic ones people natural gravitate towards and who hold the group together and fuck with them the hardest. Bring down the ones who are the most important for logistics, organising and recruitment and their groups quickly fail. Most of them are seriously committed, but not that many are competent leaders or planners - or are even willing to step up and do it.

You have to look at it the same way cops do when targetting a drug gang. You don't fuck up the first and ever low-level dealer you come across, you let them be so you can go further up the chain, learn more about the group, who makes it function proper and who leads it. By building up the trust of the low-level ones you get access to the upper level ones and time to plan and target them making sure you bring them down, bringing with them the rest of the gang. The low-level ones usually don't amount to much so knocking them out is just removing a few pawns from the board instead of the important pieces.
