That's right, people who believe in outrageous things can still be fine human beings.

That and he was referring to the more moderate people in both camps. There were certainly mainstream conservatives present, just as there were surely mainstream liberals present. It's likely that a large number of each camp were mainstream and just there to check out what was happening.

It just happens that, both in the media as here, the focus falls on the troublemakers: The guys who swing bike locks and the guys who drive Dodge Chargers.

The real disgusting thing is that nobody in media or the government is actually acknowledging what Trump actually meant by that statement. The left's point is that 100% of the people in the right camp were white supremacist Nazi klansmen on the verge of massacring the entire town, while 100% of the people in the left camp were practicing Gandhi/MLK-like civil disobedience and peaceful protest.

In looking for pics, I found out they rally itself never happened as planned. The police closed the park. So maybe that's why there weren't any "moderate" speeches or photos and all I've seen are these chaotic melee ones.
