I read what you wrote, but I just think that in the broadest sense, "alt left" is just a new term to define cultural marxism, and I am not sure why you would trade one phrase for another, more descriptive one.

Normies don't understand what a marxist is and the word comes off as pretentious. 'not everyone to the left of you is a marxist' would be an easy comeback among the small % of the population who even know what the word means.

Yes, and brand them alt left. The entire goal is to create a large faction of the democratic party that is associated with antifa. When antifa get deemed terrorists, this will mean BLM etc will now be associated with terrorists.
