The weed issue actually helped me adopt the conservative perspective on government. I held several liberal beliefs but the negative consequences of the drug caused me to see the negative consequences of most government intervention into the personal lives of citizens. Still recommend that people take a month off every once in a while.

Not a stoner but I like weed, think it should be legal, and did vote for trump. Trump's position on marijuana is as good as its gonna get. It seems like he's trying to keep that munchkin sessions in check but the best we're gonna get with this president is a support for medical marijuana and leaving recreational to the states. First off, marijuana isn't the most pressing matter. Second, the Republican voters are too split on the issue for Trump to push for full legalization.
