The "correct opinion" is that every race is just as nice and good and wonderful and everyone has the same rights, foreigners and locals, and it's horrible to discriminate based on where someone was born and even if the refugees do some unpleasant things it's only because of their culture shock confusion, if we understand and tolerate them hard enough they'll assimilate and start believing in our values tralalalalalala
Even though looking at the UK, France, Germany, Sweden etc they don't assimilate and don't want to adapt, and even though it's clear that not every culture shares the same values or understanding of morals.

A large percentage of westerners despise their own countries and actively seek to destroy them. There is also an element of people who are simply apolitical but have heard buzzwords and slogans enough that they think importing slightly modified apes from other countries too incompetent to function will greatly improve western countries. Of course, none of them will ever be able to answer how exactly this is supposed to be happen.
In all honestly, I think that a lot of this could be solved by simply asking people why they think that "diversity" and multiculturalism are helpful to their country. As far as I've ever heard, the only argumentation behind this is corporate slogans.

Yep, this is the problem. People from countries like somalia, iraq, afghanistan have around 70% unemployment. This in combination with their high crime rates, and how they need to get EVERYTHING THEY OWN from the state, schooling for all their multiple kids who end up living on welfare too - the few who actually manage work aren't anywhere near enough to cover the costs of the leeches. Talk about how we need them for the workforce is fucking bullshit because they just don't work, they're just a huge drain on society, both financially and also through increasing the feeling of insecurity through all the shit they pull
