What we had was a floating waste of space and Money that never managednto spend more than a couple months at sea without suffering some terrible problem and having to rush back to the docks to be fixed. And now we deactivated it.
The poor girl was old as fuck anyways. She can finally rest without us fucking around on her deck playing at having a navy.
Carriers are useless in this era, maybe they're useful with dealing against an insurgency but in a 1 to 1 superpower fight its crap.

Steam catapults on the Nimitz class carriers can be a pita to operate/maintain...work very well launching aircraft with full weapon load...Euro style works to give aircraft a little boost as they need more takeoff length, ramp gives a little boot in the ass on takeoff cause no catapult...
