Why do people look up to pic related? On top of spouting that white people are inherently inferior and evil, he also advocated violent protest against the government, labeled other civil rights leaders like MLK as "stooges" of the whites, and even proposed a black ethnostate in africa as a permanent solution to racial segregation. His thoughts and positions were so radical and stupid that, in his later life, renounced his extreme stances on some these issues and as a result was fucking assassinated by the same group he was the leader of just a few years before.
Yet, in nearly all mention of him, I see that he is portrayed as a positive, important influence on the civil rights movement. This makes no sense, if anything, he slowed down the progress of the civil rights movement by advocating for the complete opposite of their positions, denouncing their less radical leaders, and advocating for violence, which would've given legitimacy to the opposition of the civil rights movement in that the proponents of the movement were just "violent niggers" that wanted to bring down the white race.
Why do people hold him in positive regard? DO people hold him in positive light? I get that he was a very important figure from a historical perspective, but within my very limited knowlege of the man, he seemed like a comeplete lunatic in his relevant years.
He was a black fascist who wanted to move his kin to Africa and create a nation for themselves. He's everything we want blacks to be honestly.

I read the Autobiography of Malcolm X and it's one of my favourite books I've ever read. He wanted to stand up for his people. I can respect that.
The lesson I learn from it is that all people should stand up for themselves. This is why I think that white people need to stand up for ourselves. That doesn't mean we can't have amicable relations with other races - perhaps we can. But we need to stand up for ourselves.
Indeed he did want that, until he went on the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca, and that's when he then decided that the races could in fact live together if they embraced a spirit of peace. But he still believed blacks needed to discover their heritage and be proud of it.
Although I find it ironic that he, and the rest of the Nation of Islam, thought Islam was the original religion of the black man. It wasn't. It's the religion of Arabs, who enslaved blacks and colonised them, just like whites did. But hey ho.

I agree that the races will always have animosity to each other, but that doesn't necessarily mean we can't live together.
I just think whites need to stand up for ourselves. That's the priority for me.
Separating the races into different nations would be a task that requires a lot of effort, and it seems most people in the West don't have the hunger for that sort of solution yet. Maybe one day they will. For the moment I just think whites should stand up for ourselves.
Also I think this is a problem of the alt-right. I think the alt-right needs to come up with a coherent political manifesto. Spencer talks of white nationalism but there are no details to it. Where would it be? What will you do about non-white people already there? There's too many unanswered questions. This is why it's seen as a joke to much of the public. It might just be better to focus on issues that are screwing over white people - discrimination in affirmative action / diversity programmes, negative portrayal in the media, generalising across the entire race as being responsible for the actions of a few, etc.
