The models have been consistent on strengthening right up until landfall tomorrow night/early Saturday. If there is any dry air being entrained or perhaps more likely some light mid-level shear, it's not enough to prevent further intensification. Definitely think Cat 3 to 4 is possible at landfall. What will continue to be interesting is the track. This has the appearance of one of canes that may dance around the coastline for a long time before finally landfalling. Should be great footage tomorrow night/Saturday morning.
