>Because you don't like gays?
yes. right now they want gay "marriage", next they will want something more extreme. you can go "but the slippery slope is a fallacy!" all that you want, it doesn't make you right.
>I don't like your backwards beliefs, but you're welcome to them as long as they don't fuck with anyone else's shit.
exactly, so stop ruining marriage because you dislike intact healthy families. for that matter, stop using my tax dollars (a parliament vote still uses them) to destroy this country.
>I want people to be left alone to make their own decisions.
yeah, that's worked so far, hasn't it? we've got record levels of household debt, families are falling apart at a rate never seen before, 1/4 of this country has used ice, women are fucking black men, taking drugs and destroying their own children, and we're bringing in terrorists.
the solution is not brute force. the solution is the adoption of a belief system that will work on an individual level, so that we never have to enforce it. we are a guilt based society, we need to play off of that. christianity is the answer.
>and it's why almost no one embraces any of the tenants of your faith.
it's actually because you have destroyed the popular image of christianity because you hate western civilization.
>It's obsolete, and everyone knows it.
what makes you think that you can speak with higher authority than the collective work of millions of people throughout multiple millennia?
>Gay people getting married, stupid as it is, isn't trampling on your rights.
say that to the communists. you people played the exact game you're playing right now in russia back in the 1900s, and it killed tens of millions.
>How am I subversive?
you have objectified and politicized christianity. religious experience is not meant to be politicized. it just is.
