I carry a Kel Tec P32 at work, an M&P Shield/Taurus PT111 out and about depending clothing bulk, and a 1911 around the house.

I dont carry anything. I dont feel threatened when i am out and about.

I don't either. I carry on the off chance I might feel threatened. Seems like a risk that is easily mitigated, plus the solution is also a fun hobby.

I have an AK74 for "real" home defense but it's usually socked up in the closet. I usually wear whatever gun that day all day until I sleep on top of that and keep all of the pistols next to my bed for convenience sake.

Tbh any gun is fine except something that goes through multiple walls but I do want a shotgun a lot. Trap has really taken off up here in MN.

Protip, in the state of California you can open and conceal carry a taser. You still have to abide by brandishing laws and unlawful discharge.

You'll be better off learning to fight. Really FIGHT. Not some stylized 'arts' shit but some full contact, low on rules fighting. And if you want to spend money on gear, go with discrete/concealed body armor (look at the stuff available for bodyguards and bouncers)

Generally my full size M&P .40. I'm a big enough guy (6'2", 240 lbs) that concealment isn't an issue, and I prefer a full size handgun.

Cops not caring isn't the primary thing since cops won't have a reason to search your bags or make you empty your pockets. You could carry a fairbairn-sykes around in your pants and it's very unlikely to be a problem if you don't use it.
What you have to think about is two things.
*Is this actually a good weapon?
*Will I be able to successfully argue before a court that I was not carrying this for self-defense and that I had a lawful reason for having it on me when I defended myself with it?

Sauce? Please be true. The only articles I can find on the matter say that the new handgun can be converted between 9mm, .357, and .40 caliber, and that the army chose the 9mm version as standard.

This needs a major update, also needs to include black powder revolvers as they're fairly cheap and easier to get than a modern pistol.
