It's only become afluent within the last 5 years. I've been hanging out there for 4 years now and it's changed dramatically. There are still maybe 20% of people who are old school Seattle hippies who haven't taken the million dollar deal yet and moved away. Neither my gf or I ever encountered them, though she was harmed at a young age by another kid who may have been a victim. Other neighborhors said that they would offer to babysit their kids or try to give them toys or valentines. They also molested 3 generations of their own family members.
