I'm in Houston and my neighborhood always floods. My house has flooded twice in 3 years. House always floods becuase there is a open screened in area in the center of the house that doesnt drain fast enough, so the house floods from the inside out. I'm more prepared this time. Got water pumps and a generator incase the power goes out. Gonna run the hose form the pump right out the front door when it starts to fill up.
A capful of bleach per gallon of water will purify it too
