Recently, there's been an user with a campaign to use a browser extension called 'Adnausium' to give Google ads fake clicks so as to trick the advertisers into pulling their ads out of a sense of being tricked.
I just downloaded 'Adnausium' and its fucking amazing. Free, simple to install, and it fucking works. I think this is a big opportunity to really easily utilize the main funding technique of websites.
How many times do you visit Facebook or Youtube or use Google everyday? . . . Probably multiple times per day multiplied by weeks and months -- that's a lot of fake clicks, which the advertisers are extremely wary of.
Anyway, I think it's work a peek. Seems like a bold, simple strategy. And if nothing else, you get a free ad-blocker that minorly pisses off some corporations.
look out for shills posting startpage/ixquick as a way of boycotting google also look out for DDG misinformation
Cameron Jenkins
Pale Moon just banned this addon from their platform.
That's all the proof I need that this works.
David Parker
looks interesting, i'll bump it
Jonathan Mitchell
This essentially is going to give the consumer the ability to control the advertising industry by pissing off their customers.
Eli Walker
Palemoon creator Moonchild comments more on blocking AdNauseum browser extension. He says you can enable it by changing your blocking level in the settings. forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=16504
Jace Sanders
Yep. Disrupting ad revenue is the best way to destroy Google. The entire economic model relies on people clicking on ads. Destroy that with fake clicks and you destroy their economic incentives.
Ryder Ramirez
Botnet, also banned by increasingly more browsers every day. Waste of time.
Lucas Bailey
google is an online advertising company first and foremost, seems like this could hurt them really badly if enough people use it
Jacob Cooper
Had to disable ABP to use it, and desu it works way better. Also, the option to only shadow-click ads that use tracking is really nice.
Kevin Russell
Looks good, I may give this a shot
Jonathan Sanders
I need more than a recommendation on Sup Forums to be sure it isn't doing bad things to me, as well as Google. Sounds like a good way to get wrongthinkers to all install a questionable addon in their browsers, you know?
Jordan Turner
just install ublock origin
Ayden Brown
The internet economy functions because of ads, retards. Small website owners make money by providing their ad space, small businesses promote their products and services using their ads. By fighting against the whole ad model (instead of peacefully blocking them for yourselves) you're fighting against capitalism and are basically becoming commie-tier.
Go back to /leftypol/, socialist faggots.
The creators of AdNauseum are literally marxist SJW kikes&trannies
works great. only 2 days and already $180 fake ad revenue.
Anthony Martin
forogt pic.
Nathaniel King
100% great decision, I fully approve of it.
Commie subhumans with their agenda attacking other people's online property must suffer.
Adrian Reed
nice will look into it
Colton Diaz
Fuck off. There are new models popping up that don't prop up an intrusive jew tier industry like advertising. Braves micro-"patreon" system is one example. Besides this is about hurting Google not destroying capitalism.
Caleb Baker
You think I give a fuck about advertisers? You think I give a fuck about sites that accept advertisers? Especially malicious ones.
I may consider disabling this on certain sites but you better believe it's gonna stay active on big jew sites. I might even start reading some CNN now.
Noah Torres
>Adnausium nice it is available on my opera
Robert White
internet capitalism like google is zionist in nature so yeah they are fair gun
Joshua Morris
lmao the tears from those greedy kikes
Angel Gonzalez
also if u have the addon... and really wanna fuck with google... do a good old alex jones goolag bomb !!!
just sit down and search for "buy (brand name)" and u do it for every brand name that comes to mind !!!
Jayden Fisher
Yes I had the same problem the other day. We are hurting them where it hurts: their shekels. Does anyone have the pasta for the uncucked version of firefox? I think it's one of the only way to have a good browser now and I remember some anons were sharing this link.
Christopher Lopez
If the program automatically clicks all ads, that means it's super easy to track you.
Noah Miller
>There are new models popping up that don't prop up an intrusive jew tier industry like advertising There are, but it's all geared towards normies anyway, you can simply ignore it. The internet is about making money for those who provide content, go away with your free dindu crap
>Besides this is about hurting Google not destroying capitalism. The devs are of a different opinion, they are literal leftists, and you're just falling for their Jewish subversion
Ryder James
lol would never use gay loving firefox
Anthony Powell
if it hurts google then its good
Juan Lee
If this blocks the ads or gives them fake clicks or whatever if I watch someone on YouTube isn't the person as well as google losing money? Don't use kikebook
Noah Long
Hey look its sundar poo chai
Jordan Mitchell
In the first time you're giving a lot of money to google, then, IF a lot of users start using it, maybe the advertisers understand that there's a sort of fraud.
Jeremiah Perez
LMAO, google doesn't give a shit. You don't understand the whole ad model. At worst, it's small business goyim who will pay for nothing, and small site owners who'll get flagged for fraudulent click. You're punishing innocent people, leftist idiot. But most likely google will simply come up with an algorithm to automatically detect AdNauseum activity, and that's it. Google jews won't lose a cent.
Mason Allen
>Google jews won't lose a cent.
Whoops.
Samuel Smith
Google is providing the service, so they would have to either figure out how to spot fradulent clicks or pay back the user. Either way Google loses.
Blake Gonzalez
>online property lol
Jayden Mitchell
lol, do you even understand where that money comes from? Advertisers pay Google first, then receive visitors, and if some visitors are fake, Google might return some of the money
Google Jews don't lose anything at all, you're just fighting online capitalism hurting small people like a leftist SJW kike
Andrew Davis
another add-on: remove google analytics
was banned from git-hub, another possible avenue
Wyatt Ward
The "woman" behind AdNauseum (Helen Nissenbaum)
Jonathan White
if you run windows then use: waterfox
Nathaniel Ortiz
>kill websites first before killing google
>google returns 10 percent >we winning guys
placebo tier, this add-on is what you would use when google was a baby. Google is not a baby and will patch this dumb clicked.
You need a smart, human like clicker in it's own browser constantly browsing all day
Nathan Cook
>it is classified as malware
Andrew Campbell
google shill detected
Justin Wood
>Google might return some of the money >Google Jews don't lose anything at all,
You don't even read what you're saying.
That being said, I will agree it's kind of pointless if only right leaning people install this addon. Normie leftists will still consume ads as normal and those pages won't get touched but Google will notice all these right leaning sites and videos are generating fake clicks and may just pull ads exclusively from them.
Anthony White
Does adnauseum still work with adblock?
Adrian White
>P.S. -- Not a shill I swear
Nolan Thompson
Absolutely correct. It violates the online NAP by providing malicious input. It's a "fight capitalism" plugin.
Sebastian James
ad nauseam is not detecting any ads for me, pls send help
Evan Campbell
considering this extension ''clicks'' on everything, does that mean my browsing experience gets slower?
i use chrome with ABP for years now.
Leo Rodriguez
While you're on it, get a redirect extension and stop giving youtube and other cunts clicks - automatically.
Owen Hernandez
disable your normal ad blocker to fix this issue
Dylan Young
Saw his thread earlier today, downloaded it, and I am pleased. Estimated 146 dollars goofle has to pay back.
Christian Powell
something is up I think that this is a great idea but there has been a lot of shilling against this extension whenever it's brought up everything from "you're killing sites" to "Sup Forums isn't big enough to affect things so don't try"
Asher Harris
I don't give a shit about boogle and if it goes bankrupt tomorrow, I just understand how the online economy works, unlike /leftypol/
>You don't even read what you're saying. No, it's all pretty plain: google receives money from advertisers while giving them visitors in exchange. The money that google refunds still comes from the small business goyim, who just paid more than they got.
John Robinson
>>have to return money >>doesn't loose a thing >>calling people retarded
Nice logic.
Ayden Cooper
does anyone have a method of automatically switching youtube urls to hooktube urls?
Gabriel Gray
How about my freedom and privacy on the internet, which those sites violate for profit by analyzing my behavior (((anonymously))) without my consent? Fuck off to your child sex slave factory along with your fellow libertardians.
Aiden Carter
So what you're saying is we need SharePol?
Samuel Ward
You pay me 100$ to receive 100 real visitors
You only receive 90 real visitors
I refund you 10$
Understand now?
You all are not hurting the kikes at all, instead, you're just selling your souls to the other, communist marxist trannie kikes
Michael Roberts
AH FUCK I HAD THIS INSTALLED FOR QUITE A LONG TIME NOW
This can't be ok. Not with this fucking face. This face tells me something is very fucking fishy about this.
Brandon Thompson
a...are you calling people who install this shit to attack google commies? that's rich
Jacob James
I disabled it
Colton Hughes
Adnauseam is already built on top of an adblocker, there's no point using another one with it.
Dylan Davis
>Does adnauseum still work with adblock? It's the same thing but with an extra feature.
>Absolutely correct. It violates the online NAP by providing malicious input. It's a "fight capitalism" plugin. That's not what malware is, brainlet. By your definition a macro would be considered "malware".
>I think that this is a great idea but there has been a lot of shilling against this extension whenever it's brought up It's just one retarded shill with a gadsden flag who thinks there's a socialist uprising on Sup Forums because some users respect their privacy.
>does anyone have a method of automatically switching youtube urls to hooktube urls? Wouldn't be difficult to do yourself with some basic programming.
David Fisher
Freedom and privacy are great, just use the private mode, or a cookie clearing plugin (BetterPrivacy), or, if you're totally paranoid, a VPN
Tracking is done almost exclusively through cookies, so the private mode is just enough
Angel Sanders
just replace "youtube.com" with "hooktube.com" when you paste the link also works with the shortened version
Jose Hall
It gets quite laggy on my legacy PC while it's clicking the ads; I can't really use it tbqh. I'm going back to uMatrix.
William Morris
>just replace "youtube.com" with "hooktube.com" when you paste the link >automatic
Jeremiah Rivera
I am saying adnauseum give empty clicks, which isn't google risk management plan make it part the business. All Sup Forums did is increase this dumb clicker enough for google to easily patch it. You need smart noise, we talking a.i type shit to mimic human interaction with the web, like it fills out fake account information on visit, it browses for other things also. you need bot humans searching and giving empty quality clicks, that are unique to every instance.
Adnauseum only works when google was not a billion dollar company running the internet, but when it barely started ads in 2004. If you ran this in 2004 google would be dead, but we didn't and now your fighting a billion dollar company that will patch this dumb clicker in multiple ways
Adam Reyes
Are you in incognito mode? It doesn't "click" on any ads if you're in it - it only blocks them.
Tyler Moore
Says not to use an adblocker with this. Ublock does more than just block ads so how do they work together? Has anyone tried? Does adnauseam have the same functionality as ublock?
Jeremiah Bell
Yes, they're being subverted by literal marxist kikes who want to establish a world communism. Besides, Sup Forums really reeks of leftist scum, those people don't really understand how internet capitalism works, they hate small powerless people making money online
Juan Parker
are you really such a lazy fuck you can't even type a few letters?
Evan Jenkins
No you don't Pedro, the fuck are you talking about? There is no way to fix clicking on motherfucking everything.
Oliver Young
Yeah, it's a fucking fork of it. The GUI looks a bit different but the settings page is more or less identical to uBlock.
Kayden Fisher
Couldn't you make a bot that would refresh sites like CNN every 10 seconds and then the adnausium would pick up all of the ads?
Ryan Sullivan
>muh capitalism fuck off, pseudo-kike
Kayden Robinson
just going to do some simple elementary school math here: so in one day you fake click about 90$s worth of ads in one week: 630$ one month: 2,500~$ year: 30,000~$ lets say 10,000 people use this: in one year if 10k people on average use this consistently thats 300,000,000$ in fake clicks. holly shit and this is only low ball numbers here
David Morris
>Couldn't you make a bot that would refresh sites like CNN every 10 seconds and then the adnausium would pick up all of the ads? >What is an IP
Ryan Rivera
Their point IS o do use fake clicks everywhere. What i dont
Parker Gonzalez
Are you pretending to be retarded?
Mom and Pop paid out $100 for 100 real visitors
Google put out the ads and got 90 real, 10 fake
Google now has to pay back $10 because they got cucked.
Google. Has. Lost. $10.
They gave it back to mom and pop.
Bentley Lewis
Ignore shills, report shills.
Google wouldn't be trying to ban this on all web browsers if its not working. That being said Pale Moon just unistalled this shit automatically for me...
Carson Garcia
no, it's an adblock in itself, an extended version of ublock origin.
Benjamin Robinson
yep, I always use incognito mode because reasons
Parker Nelson
Oh shit yeah. lol
Gavin James
He's correct, a bit of data mining can easily detect and ignore any AdNauseum activity. At worst, it's the advertisers (small business goyim) who are losing money. But considering that this shit has pretty simple, recognizable patterns, it's really easy to weed out.
You better get back to your riotous tranny plugin, socialist
Tyler Wilson
>automatically
Christian Scott
You could run it in a VM, which I did originally. But for optimal performance and harm, I'm running it overnight with the jsfiddle script outside of the VM
Bentley Howard
>resorting to "w-well it's not gonna work in the future so why bother you retarded goyim"
Shill confirmed.
Nathaniel Anderson
some cuck really needs to fuck off back to (((The_Donald)))
William Evans
Yeah, I do that too - but AdNauseam detects when you're in it and doesn't click on any ads to protect your privacy. ... so in incognito mode it functions just like uBlock.
Levi Davis
In that case, everyone's even, Google Jews don't lose anything
If Google doesn't refund or weed out fraudulent clicks, it's always the advertiser who's losing
You're just fighting online capitalism, deal with it
Sebastian Diaz
For now its not, and you're talking like Adnauseam won't update itself to counter any new algorithms. Not only that but Google is springing more and more leaks these days what with all of the 1984 shit they are doing.
Xavier Collins
Bump
Jonathan Williams
You think Google can't detect this? Enough advertisers have conversion tracking that Google can detect if a person is clicking a zillion ads and never actually converting, in addition to the other multitude of ways they detect fraud. I'm sure in the battle between fake traffic producers and Google there are probably tricky ways you can fool Google, but a person clicking every ad is not one of them. Also... this doesn't actually hurt Google. If the percentage of fake traffic goes up, the cost per click will just go down over the long term. And what, advertisers are going to lose faith? Give me a break. It doesn't matter if the traffic is 0% fake or 90% fake, all that matters is if the traffic is making you a profit or not.
Grayson Lopez
Why would you respond to someone's question without answering it and then call them lazy?
