I've been offered a 12-month contract to work in a lab over there, and the pay is certainly a step up from my current rate. However, as somebody who currently lives in a 90+% white town, and somebody who has never lived in a big city, I don't know how well I'd cope emotionally with seeing once great city reduced to a crime-ridden shithole full of brownskins. I also do not speak a word of German.
