It's totally different over here. Once the borders were open, German drivers complained about unfair competition. So now the German law says drivers driving in Germany, no matter where they come from, must earn minimum wage. There are regular and frequent checks on our motorways, and drivers found violating that are fined heavily. (And so are the transport companies.) Mostly though they are withdrawn from circulation because lorries from the east don't pass our safety checks. If that happens, said lorries aren't allowed to even drive to their destination. They have to be fixed on site and another (safe) lorry has to pick up the load.

I have only encountered one Paki driver in 5 years of driving. And a handful of Sikhs who do yard shunting. There are probably more black drivers than Paki. Non-white drivers tend to rare even in the big cities.
The vast majority of drivers are white British. Very slowly they will be replaced by Eastern Europeans as the Brits retire.

Nothing. When police pulls out a lorry on a motorway, they check lorry safety, driver's papers, how long he has been driving and what he gets paid. Police mostly pull out Eastern European lorries, because experience has shown a high percentage of them isn't safe to drive anymore.
