I would say that it's because they're a part of this British tradition of assimilation and multiculturalism we've had since the 1950s, however unlike England they actually haven't had to experience any foreign immigration. Virtually no Pakis or Poles go up to Scotland, so unlike most of England they haven't had a chance to turn against mass immigration. It's why Scotland wants to leave the UK and rejoin the EU.
