What have you done today to improve your mental/physical/spiritual wellbeing user?

Modern society is to blame for there being so many people who don't deserve to live. Most people in the West used to harden as they grow on their own, like anywhere else. Now without effort you can remain indefinitely infantile due to our decadence. There were always outliers that became like this throughout history, but now the general masses have succumbed to this condition. There is no longer a rite of passage into adulthood, you can be sheltered and live comfortably. This is de-evolution. Everyone has a dandy-ol time being a degenerate well into their 50s. Constant entertainment, pre-cooked meals and pornography has robbed us of our man-hood.

Realize that to live is to struggle. Really internalize this truth in your being and actions and when possible spread it to others that you care about.

In the end the Natural Order will always prevail. Nature is inherently fascist. The modern world is a world that goes completely against nature and the results are telling. It's tearing itself apart.

Nevertheless you as an individual can always chose to go against the flow and struggle and persevere while the rest of society rots and withers away. It's not an easy path, but you go on because you know that you are in the right and that in the end you will be vindicated.

Exactly because the modern world is so self-destructive half the battle is just weathering the storm until the whole edifice has degenerated so much that we can rise and deal the final blow.

Live to live your life correctly and that will bring happiness to yourself and those around you.

Remember, you don't need all the latest work-out equipment, supplements or drugs to get a naturally fit look. Set goals for yourself aswell. See if you can lift sandbags that weigh up to 80kgs eventually. Carry it on your shoulders, throw it as far as you can, attempt to eventually lift it with nothing but a single grip. Get used to being able to punch something aswell. Do NOT be a limp wristed fageutte who would cry if he gets hit. Be able to defend yourself.

Self-improvement and taking care of oneself is incredibly important in order to make any sort of positive change in the world.

Become physically healthy

Read more books and get educated on the task at hand, read philosophy
Focus on your job and work on becoming a more productive member of society

Remember, we must sort ourselves out first before we can sort out the world.

Anons you do not need to go to a gym until you are comfortable with it. However, you MUST start doing exercises to lose weight at home or else you'll be stuck where you are. Once you feel you are in better shape you can go then. I'd recommend buying a punching bag and jogging to really start burning those calories and upping your endurance.

Guess I should share

Couple of months ago I started jogging again. Used to be more /fit/ in high school but sort of took on a NEET lifestyle at the start of this year, quickly realised the error of my ways when I started to get by some days with only 3 hours of sleep. Got a gym membership and now I'm getting to bed before well 23:00 and getting up at 7:00 on the regular. Also started buying all the classics in terms of philosophy and western literature. Can't wait to see the results in a few months and I'm enjoying every minute of it, I feel so much more alive and I'm rubbing off on some of my Redpilled friends and even my siblings.

I started weight lifting 7 years ago, currently 98kg @ 1,81m, can run 10km with ease. Got little chubby sadly, would be around 90kg if I want a sixpack. Sadly, progress diminished mostly after 4 years of lifting when I started my phd and doing 40-60 hours work weeks. Outside stress can fucking kill you... and getting redpills force fed on Sup Forums doesn't help either with your mental health. I probably have to cut back training to 3x a week and cardio once a week.

If you are not into sports then yes. I lift at home and at these temperatures I drink around 1.5 liters WHILE lifting. Reaching a total of 4-5 litres then. I usually wake up, dring 0.5-1 litre in the morning, another 2 while at work and then I still have 6 hours to go until bed time.

The de-miniralization becomes relevant at above 8 litres maybe... you should eat food with salt in it anyway.

I'm with you user, these types of movements bring excellent strength and well-being.

The problem is that we're not doing this every day since we were born; wearing shoes with big heels, sitting, modern life in general, creates many problems which must *first* be remedied so your movements are optimal. Otherwise, you're wide open for injury.

Check out the class action brought against Vibram (those rubber toe-shoes) because so many people fucked up their feet wearing them; they all had poor range-of-motion in their ankles and thus were striking with an almost-bare heel on hard surfaces!

TL;DR: if you decide to improve your /fit/ness, you should first concentrate on improving posture and tightness issues, so you don't get injured later on.

Howdy /SIG/, Scrawny-fag here. I'm still in the beginning of the self-improvement stage; I've picked up a lot of books in the beginning of the summer from authors such as Plato, Herodotus, Ayn Rand, Rousseau, Hobbes, all that jazz; I've read most of them, though I still need to get some more literature to study to "know my enemy" perse.
That won't be a problem; the only problem I have at the moment is the physical part. My cardio is fine and I'm in good shape over all, but I can't seem to gain mass and upper-body strength effectively.
I've got one these machines kinda like pic-related and an elliptical. I use them about twice a week when/if I get the chance.
Thinking about it now, I believe this is a below average plan, so what changes do you guys think I can make to effectively gain mass and strength to get out of the "scrawny stage".

I workout 3 times a week and do HIIT 2 times a week. I'm on the level when I can do over 20 pull ups(so usually I do them with additional weight), push ups on one hand, human flag, dragon flag, some acrobatics, I have stamina like a horse, my HIIT training is quite intense, 20 intervals 15s sprint like there is no tomorrow/ 45s normal cardio running and of course 5min warming on the beginning and 5min of normal running to cool off

I also do train with punching bag etc.

Pretty much this work out is at cost of social life because it is little hard to find time when you also study on stem uni.

The only shitty thing is the fact that I'm a manlet 176cm/75kg but fuck it, I came to conclusion that I will not fear things and people bigger than me, if it is necessary I will fight to the death even if I don't stand a chance, and I can't do anything about being a manlet as I can't do anything about the fact that I will die anyway, there is no logical reason to fear death and there is no logical reason to lament about being a manlet, maybe women don't look at me with lust in the eyes but one can become great by other means not only by furthering his lineage, I will work hard and try to be good example for others... Find a barbell and do back squats, overhead press and weighted pull-ups for 5x5 three times a week. Do 1-3 sets of five deadlifts every week during one of these workouts. Progress by 5-10 lbs every week. Remember that fitness and strength are a marathon and should be done slowly or you will fuck up your shit. Consistency over everything.

This is the Sup Forums summary thread, it's what it's all about. Just a bunch of skeptical outcasted men trying to bond and self-improve in a world out to get them, and occasionally there's an N word or a Nazi flag, and no one can handle it. All day every day there are hundreds of shills online sliding threads and trying to plant negative thoughts into our minds.

It's a developmental disorder. Certain areas of the brain just don't develop normally like they would for other people. I have extremely poor short term memory, slow processing speed, and no ability to process things visually. That means I can't read emotions quickly enough for it to be useful, and I have problems processing and remembering what things look like. I'm face-blind so I judge things via tone of voice and have to make an educated guess, but I miss pretty much all body language and facial expressions.

I hold out hope that there's going to be a cure someday, but it's just wishful thinking. Anyone telling you autism/aspergers is a gift is lying to themselves and the world. It's a terrible disorder that affects every aspect of your day to day functioning and keeps you from living a normal life. Keeps me going, though.

Yes, I do have problems but no one really chooses on how to live their lives. Whatever decisions that any one makes is dependent on past events. Role models through childhood and especially parents have the greatest influence on a child. If you grow up and your mind is being constantly manipulated with destructive behaviour and violence from the people who are suppose to protect you and nourish you, then you're bound to be fucked up. Sure you can fix yourself but it's much harder than to just "get a job" and "just be social"

Exercising is all great, but how to improve your emotional health (without using drugs)?? I mean how to beat self-esteem issues, anxieties, serious fears and other shit which result from years of degeneracy in isolation, and following ostracization by society (or vice versa).

I read some CBT literature but its all just mind games, it assumes what all your shortcomings come from your thinking and not from years of negative conditioning. All the solutions this "therapy" offers are basically policing of your thoughts every second of your life, keeping tabs in diaries about your "feelings" and how you're thinking wrong. But the fear and reaction to it is subconscious not conscious, how can you possible think your way out of fear??

The only rational solution seems to be facing your fears onward and constantly with increasing intensity. Though there is no actual method how to do it, the only important thing is not to back down even for a second or you will go back to zero.

Some ideas are to go socialize every day, try to fake it what you're fearless extrovert, or on the opposite embarrass yourself to the extreme to negate your ingrained fear of judgments. There's other unorthodox ideas like starving yourself, sleep deprivation or some other ascetic shit what would make your physical needs go above mental, emotional. Or trying out near death experience, hanging on balcony railings, bridges or nearly killing yourself jumping in front of a train or something. This could give a huge oomph and make every cell of your body realize how your sissy modern fears are irrelevant compared to the prospect of real death. Or you can just go to shrink and get on the real blue pills and completely rot your brain and further exasperate the fear then your off the pill.

All this seems like a band aid solutions and not the cure.
